FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (6/15/16): MLB DFS Advice

Welcome back, Rotoballers. It's another wild Wednesday on FanDuel with plenty of aces (Clayton Kershaw, Stephen Strasburg, Noah Syndergaard, Chris Sale, Corey Kluber) on board, so value hitters will be the name of the game.

As for Vegas insights, the only heavy moneyline favorites tonight are the Dodgers (-235) and Giants (-210). The contests with the highest over/unders are the Yankees-Rockies (12) and Marlins-Padres (9).

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/15/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

Mariners versus Drew Smyly

The Mariners love facing those left-handers; they have 53 home runs versus LHP, best in baseball. They just welcomed back Leonys Martin to the lineup and put up seven runs last night. Drew Smyly has been putrid in 2016 (4.95 ERA) and had his turn in the rotation skipped for his performance. We'll see if the rest does him good, but his 14 HR allowed are tied for the most in the Rays rotation.

Yankees versus Chad Bettis

I'm sure you don't need to be told to stack at Coors, but here's a friendly reminder if you got scared by the Yanks poor performance last night. Chad Bettis has been awful lately (11.57 ERA over four starts) and the Yankees lefties will make the right-field porch their (beep).

Also Consider: Reds versus Bud Norris

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Johnny Cueto (SP, SF) - $10,700

You'll to play an early-game to get action here but Cueto has dazzled at home in 2016 (2.05 ERA, 39/4 K/BB ratio). The Brewers have a .399 SLG versus RHP, 20th in baseball, and I expect Cueto to keep them puzzled all day. At -210, there's an excellent chance you pick up a win too.

Marco Estrada (SP, TOR) - $8,600

Umm, why is Estrada below $9K? He's been fantastic since joining the Blue Jays rotation and has limited offenses to five hits or less in nine straight starts. The Phillies .664 OPS is 28th in baseball, making this a fantastic tourney or 50/50 play.

Anthony DeSclafani (SP, CIN) - $6,400

I rolled with DeSclafani in his 2016 debut and he didn't let me down (6 IP, ER). Now he gets a Braves lineup with a .641 OPS versus RHP, last in baseball. This is a no-brainer if you want to fade the aces and stack an offense.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C)

Jonathan Lucroy (C, MIL) - $2,700

I know, I know. I just recommended the opposing pitcher (Cueto), but Lucroy has been too solid at a shallow position to pass up this price point. He's mashed versus righties in 2016 (.341/.397/.494) and while he's only 6-for-24 (.250) lifetime versus Cueto, I think he'll do enough to exceed his value.

First Base (1B)

Matt Adams (1B, STL) - $3,400

Another right-handed pitcher means another start for Adams. He has crushed RHP (.310/.376/.566) with seven of his eight HR versus them as well. A great price point.

Also Consider: Wil Myers (1B, SD) - $3,900

Second Base (2B)

Starlin Castro (2B, NYY) - $3,200

Castro is slowly coming back to life (.289 AVG in June) and this is a great chance to get on the right track. This is too low for Coors exposure.

Shortstop (SS)

Francisco Lindor (SS, CLE) - $3,600

Lindor continues to put together an All-Star campaign and has been fantastic in June (.574 SLG). He is 4-for-6 lifetime versus Ian Kennedy and I expect that to continue today.

Third Base (3B)

Martin Prado (3B, MIA) - $3,300

Advertising

I don't care if Prado is an empty-average player, I'll take a .332 average for this cheap. He's averaging 19.6 FanDuel points over his last six games.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Brett Gardner (OF, NYY) - $4,200

Coors Field. He's posting a .281/.405/.439 slash versus RHP, including a .425 average in June. This is a must.

Melky Cabrera (OF, CWS) - $3,200

The Melk Man has been excellent in June (.333/.371/.545) and gets a tasty matchup with Mike Pelfrey today. I'm buying.

Byron Buxton (OF, MIN) - $2,800

Buxton has been much better since returning from his minor-league stint and opponent Hector Santiago has been horrid. He's a cheap speed play.

Also Consider: Gerardo Parra (OF, COL) - $3,300 and Ryan Braun (OF, MIL) - $2,800
