FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (6/17/16): MLB DFS Advice

This is a very competitive slate tonight. There are very strong starting pitchers and very weak starting pitchers. The stacks are far from obvious, and the pitching does not include some of the premier aces in the league. It is the perfect slate to read this article and get a leg up on the compeititon.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/17/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

Editor's Note: RotoBaller offers the best Premium MLB Subscription - only $1.99 per week. DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

Houston Astros

The Houston Astros are one of the better power-hitting teams in the league, and they get a great matchup tonight against John Lamb and the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds' pitching staff is horrible, and the upside to be had is definitely there. This is a great tournament stack.

New York Mets

John Gant is on the mound tonight for the Atlanta Braves, as they square off against the New York Mets. The Mets have been starting to hit better of recent, as Wilmer Flores and a few others are starting to turn the corner. With David Wright done for the season, Flores will continue to excel. Stack the Mets in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Los Angeles Angels

The Los Angeles Angels make for a great stack tonight against the Oakland Athletics and the struggling Kendall Graveman. Not a lot of fantasy owners ever look their way, so this could be sneaky. Use them in tournaments.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Michael Fulmer

Michael Fulmer is basically a dream come true for the Detroit Tigers. He has been absolutely great this season. With an ERA right around 2.50 and a 7-1 record, there is no reason to avoid him. He can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Joe Ross

Joe Ross is having a solid season for the Washington Nationals, as he currently has an ERA right around 3.00. He is pitching in Petco Park tonight against the San Diego Padres. The Nationals' staff can be used this entire series.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - Wilson Ramos

Wilson Ramos is simply the best catcher in the league at the plate right now. He is tearing the cover off the ball. Regardless of price and matchup, use him every day until he calms down.

First Base (1B) - CJ Cron

CJ Cron is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games, which means that he is hitting value more often than not. As previously stated, the Angels are sneaky tonight with such a great matchup against Graveman. Fire up Cron in both formats.

Second Base (2B) - Whit Merrifield

Whit Merrifield is on fire right now. He is hitting well over .300 in his last 10 games, and he is hitting value almost every single game. There is just no reason to avoid him.

Shortstop (SS) - Xander Bogaerts

Do not attempt to get fancy at the shortstop position. Xander Bogaerts is putting the rest of the league to shame right now. He should continue to excel with another great matchup tonight.

Third Base (3B) - Danny Valencia

Danny Valencia has been great of recent, and it looks like he is going to continue this hot streak for quite some time. It is time to add him to the list in season-long leagues and also roster him frequently in daily leagues.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Nelson Cruz

Nelson Cruz is averaging double-digit fantasy points over his last 10 games. He is a home run hitting machine, and he can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.

Kevin Pillar

Kevin Pillar is one of the hottest outfielders in the league right now. He is hitting well over .300 in his last 10 games, and the Toronto Blue Jays are relying on him to knock in runs. Rely on him as a fantasy owner until he cools down, which may take a few games.
