Welcome back, Rotoballers. It's a brand new week on FanDuel and another chance to hit it big.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/27/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel. We have a smaller slate on tap (11 games) starting at 12:35 ET. For this article, I'm going to ignore the Dodgers-Pirates matchup and focus on the main slate (if you feel compelled to play it, I like Josh Harrison, Corey Seager, and Justin Turner.
As for Vegas insights, the only heavy moneyline favorites tonight are the Cubs (-23o), Giants (-175), and Indians (-171). The contests with the highest over/unders are the Blue Jays-Rockies (12.5) and Rangers-Yankees (9.5).

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel
Rangers versus Ivan Nova
Nova has been awful lately, posting a 6.88 ERA and .932 OPS against in his last six starts. Things don't get any easier today versus the AL-leading Rangers who have been clicking since the return of Shin-Soo Choo. They scored 23 runs in their showdown with Boston this weekend and I expect it to continue today. While everyone stacks Coors, target this game.
Phillies versus Robbie Ray
If you want to afford Jake Arrieta and win a tourney, you're going to need a unique stack. This has the opportunity to be a cheap offensive boon, given the Phillies recent offense outburst (5.2 runs/game in last five games). Robbie Ray owns a 5.89 ERA at Chase Field, and while the Phillies stick versus lefties, some recent additions to the lineup (Tommy Joseph, Peter Bourjos) fare well versus LHP. Don't hitch all your wagons to this play, but keep them in mind when considering value options.
Also Consider: Blue Jays versus Jon Gray
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Jake Arrieta (SP, CHC) - $11,900
Don't let Arrieta's recent poor outing versus St. Louis deceive you. Arrieta has been a workhouse all year and the Reds are porous versus right-handers; their .693 OPS versus RHP is 26th in baseball, while their .292 OBP is 28th. Arrieta is safe for 50/50 deployment.
Matt Shoemaker (SP, LAA) - $8,500
Shoemaker continues to dominate. He has a 2.50 ERA and 39/4 K/BB ratio in June, although there's only one win to show for it. I'll continue to recommend Shoemaker until he shows any signs of regression.
Daniel Mengden (SP, OAK) - $7,100
Mengden hasn't earned the recognition he deserves for his strong debut, posting a 3.00 ERA and 21/6 K/BB ratio in his first three starts. Home runs have been a bit of a problem (three in 18.0 IP) but the Giants only have 41 HR versus righties, 29th in baseball. Consider Mengden for tourney purposes.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Catcher (C)
Willson Contreras (C, CHC) - $3,000
The rich get richer, as the Cubs offense just found another dangerous piece. Contreras has hit .348 with three HR and forced the Cubs hand, giving him playing time at outfield and first base. This is much too low for one of the best options at catcher.
First Base (1B)
Prince Fielder (1B, TEX) - $2,400
Believe it or not, Fielder has put together a solid stretch of games. He has averaged 19 FanDuel points in his last three contests and gets a date with the short porch at Yankees Stadium. The price tag is what makes this appealing.
Also Consider: Tommy Joseph (1B, PHI) - $3,000
Second Base (2B)
Logan Forsythe (2B, TB) - $2,800
Forsythe has cooled down since his return to the lineup (.257 in June) but he still loves facing lefties. He has a .375/.405/675 slash versus them this year and Eduardo Rodriguez has been inconsistent since joining the Red Sox rotation.
Shortstop (SS)
Trevor Story (SS, COL) - $3,600
Coors exposure for under $4K? Where do I sign up? Story is averaging 16.8 FanDuel points in his past five contests.
Third Base (3B)
Evan Longoria (3B, TB) - $3,600
Longo has a 1.005 OPS with nine HR in the month of June and has fared well versus LHP in his career, including a .906 OPS this season. Look for Longo to reach the double-digit mark in homers tonight.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Ian Desmond (OF, TEX) - $4,100
Think Desmond is determined to make up his previous financial miscues? He continues to put up MVP-type numbers in June (.376/.433/.624) and is 3-for-5 with a HR versus Ivan Nova.
Carlos Beltran (OF, NYY) - $3,900
You have to respect the ageless (and knee cartridge-less) Carlos Beltran. He's averaging 14 FanDuel points over his last four games and has a .338/.386/.649 slash in June.
Shin-Soo Choo (OF, TEX) - $3,300
Choo has been excellent upon his return (.298/.400/.532) and is averaging more than 20 points/game in his past four games.
Also Consider: Nomar Mazara (OF, TEX) - $2,800 and Adam Duvall (OF, CIN) - $2,200
