This is Jason Bales reporting live from Phoenix, Arizona. Seriously, I am in Arizona, so FanDuel will not allow me to see player's prices.
Regardless, enjoy the non-117 degree heat in wherever you are. If you are in Arizona, I'm sorry. Here is a list of some of the best plays on the board tonight for FanDuel.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/3/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.
DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel
Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox are obviously a great play tonight against the Toronto Blue Jays and R.A. Dickey. Dickey only pitches good in Toronto, and the Red Sox offense has been red hot.
San Francisco Giants
The San Francisco Giants are one of the best hitting teams in the major leagues, and they get a great matchup tonight against Adam Wainwright and the St. Louis Cardinals. Use them in all formats.
San Diego Padres
The San Diego Padres are a sneaky tournament stack against the terrible Colorado Rockies' pitching staff. Wil Myers is especially a great option.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Johnny Cueto
Johnny Cueto should be able to take care of business, despite his current back injury. He is fully expected to start. The St. Louis Cardinals are a decent offense, but Cueto has been too good to pass on.
Jimmy Nelson
Jimmy Nelson gets a great matchup tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies, and he should win the game against Vincent Velasquez. He has been pitching well of recent, so use him in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Catcher (C) - Buster Posey
Buster Posey did not have a good series against the Atlanta Braves, but his fortune should change against Adam Wainwright. He is the best hitting catcher in the league without a doubt.
First Base (1B) - Wil Myers
Wil Myers gets a great matchup against Chris Rusin and the Colorado Rockies. He is looking to finally hit that double-digit home run mark. Use him in tournaments only.
Second Base (2B) - Steve Pearce
Steve Pearce has been on fire this season for the Tampa Bay Rays. He is both consistent and powerful. Use him in 50/50 contests and tournaments.
Shortstop (SS) - Jurickson Profar
Jurickson Profar is finally starting to hit the ball for the Texas Rangers. As long as he is starting, continue to roster him.
Third Base (3B) - Maikel Franco
Maikel Franco has huge power and upside, so despite his bad matchup against Jimmy Nelson, he is worth a look in tournaments. Do not use him in 50/50 contests.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Mookie Betts
Mookie Betts is absolutely crushing the ball right now. He broke the record for most home runs in two games as a leadoff hitter with five. No more convincing is needed, despite his high price tag.
Yoenis Cespedes
Yoenis Cespedes is one of the best hitters in the league. He gets a great matchup against Tom Koehler, has not hit a home run in quite some time, has 15 home runs on the season, and should be used in tournaments.
