FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (8/14/16): MLB DFS Advice

FanDuel has yet to fix their pricing on some of these players. Read on to see who is too cheap, who is worth playing in tournaments, and who is the best on the mound.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 8/14/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

Editor's Note: Purchase a full season NFL Premium Pass (including Draft Kit + DFS Premium), and also get MLB Premium + DFS for free through October. DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

New York Mets

The New York Mets are continuing their series tonight against the San Diego Padres, meaning that they should score some runs. With Clayton Richards scheduled to take the mound, players like Jose Reyes, who recently just returned to the lineup, Neil Walker, and Travis d'Arnaud make for solid tournament options.

Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers get a great matchup tonight against the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds are throwing Cody Reed, and the Brewers have been one of the hottest teams in the league. Use players like Hernan Perez and Ryan Braun.

Minnesota Twins

Speaking of hot teams, the Minnesota Twins are hammering the ball right now. Edison Volquez and the Kansas City Royals are not going to put a stop to that. With players like Brain Dozier, Joe Mauer, and Kurt Suzuki, it is going to be tough for anyone to stop them.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Marcus Stroman

Marcus Stroman gets a high-risk, high-reward matchup tonight against the Houston Astros, a team that he recently posted huge fantasy numbers against. He has a ton of upside and potential tonight, and his price tag is just too low. Use him in tournaments without hesitation.

Tyler Chatwood

Tyler Chatwood has struggled in Coors Field, but away from home this season, he has an ERA under two. That is very impressive, and he should be able to at least hit value tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies in the city of brotherly love.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - J.T. Realmuto

J.T. Realmuto has been solid so far this season, but he should only be used in tournaments tonight against Chris Sale. He is a very consistent batter, so he has a chance to produce for a low price tag.

First Base (1B) - Joe Mauer

Joe Mauer has been, and still is, entirely too cheap on FanDuel. He has been slowing down, but with a batting average over .300 on this season, it is unlikely that he falls into a slump. Use him in a great matchup tonight.

Second Base (2B) - DJ LeMahieu

The Colorado Rockies hit much better in Coors Field, but DJ LeMahieu is one batter that doesn't seem to mind playing on the road. He has nine or more fantasy points in five straight games now, mixing in one 20 plus fantasy point game. He should hit well tonight against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Shortstop (SS) - Brad Miller

Brad Miller is a little bit expensive, but he makes for a great play until he leaves Yankee Stadium. For a shortstop, he has ridiculous power. Carlos Correa has been more consistent and has a higher ceiling, but Miller is cheaper and will be less-owned.

Third Base (3B) - Jose Ramirez

Jose Ramirez is hitting anything even relatively close to the place right now. In his last 10 games, he has a batting average hovering around .450, and in his last game, he posted almost 60 fantasy points. That is solid for a pitcher, let alone an underpriced third baseman.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

Jayson Werth

Jayson Werth has been hammering the ball of recent, and he makes for a great play in both 50/50 contests and tournaments all series long against the Atlanta Braves. He posted over 40 fantasy points a couple of games ago, so the upside is definitely there.

Hernan Perez

Hernan Perez remains entirely too cheap on FanDuel. His price tag is not taking into consideration how well he has played of recent. He is good in both 50/50 contests and tournaments tonight.
