FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Lineup Picks (8/26/16): MLB DFS Advice

The Arizona Diamondbacks are playing another fun series in Arizona against the Cincinnati Reds. That'll be interesting to watch.

What other match-ups are worth looking into? Find out below.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 8/26/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.

DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel

San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants get a great matchup tonight against the Atlanta Braves, who are currently one of the worst teams in the league. Joel De La Cruz is not going to be able to keep the Giants off the scoreboard, so stacking them in both 50/50 contests and tournaments makes a lot of sense.

Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks are still at home, which is a huge boost for their hitters. It is easy to hit home runs in Arizona, and Brandon Finnegan should make it that much easier. With players like Paul Goldschmidt and Jean Segura, it is hard to argue with a Diamondbacks' stack.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays have some of the highest upside in the league. Tonight, Pat Dean is on the mound for the Minnesota Twins, so it looks like the Blue Jays should be scoring runs. Russell Martin and Troy Tulowitzki have stood out over their last 10 games, so be sure to include them in the stack.

DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel

Justin Verlander

Justin Verlander has been fantastic all season long, and he gets a great matchup tonight against the Los Angeles Angels. The Angels are horrible offensively, which makes Verlander a better option than both Chris Sale and Felix Hernandez tonight. The matchup is everything.

David Phelps

David Phelps gets a great matchup tonight against the San Diego Padres, and he has been very consistent and solid of recent. With an ERA under three on the season, it is tough to avoid him with how low his current price tag is.

DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel

Catcher (C) - Russell Martin

Russell Martin is hitting around .400 in his last 10 games, which is great for his fantasy production. He has struggled on the season, so his price tag is not all that high right now. Use him in all formats against Pat Dean and the Minnesota Twins.

First Base (1B) - Hanley Ramirez

Hanley Ramirez is generally forgotten with how well David Ortiz has played this season, but he has been crushing the ball of recent. His price tag is very low right now, and he makes for a fantastic tournament option tonight.

Second Base (2B) - Jean Segura

Jean Segura can be used in both 50/50 contests and tournaments. The Arizona Diamondbacks are set to score quite a few runs, and Segura is going to be a large part of that. He is hitting over .300 on the season, and he should just continue to get better until the Diamondbacks miss playoffs.

Shortstop (SS) - Troy Tulowitzki

As previously mentioned, both Russell Martin and Troy Tulowitzki are great options tonight against the Minnesota Twins. Pat Dean is not great on the mound, and Tulo has a ton of power. He is starting to see the ball better, so use him in tournaments.

Third Base (3B) - Eduardo Nunez

Eduardo Nunez is too cheap. He was struggling heavily of recent, which is why his price tag is so low, but has finally turned it around for San Francisco. Over his last 10 games, he is hitting right around .300. He can be used in all formats tonight against the Atlanta Braves.

DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel

J.D. Martinez

J.D. Martinez has been great of recent for the Detroit Tigers. On the season, he is hitting over .300 with 18 home runs and 51 RBIs. His upside is there, and of recent, his consistency is there. Prior to the season, he has a wildcard for MVP, and that has not changed.

Stephen Piscotty

Stephen Piscotty has four home runs in his last 10 games. That is great production for his price tag. With a batting average nearing .300, also over his last 10 games, he is worth consideration in all formats tonight against the Oakland Athletics.
