DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel
Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays get a great matchup tonight against the New York Yankees and Bryan Mitchell, who is new to the rotation. On the season, he has a 1-1 record with a 6.00 ERA and only seven strikeouts in 12 innings pitched. This will be his fourth start, and it will be another difficult one. The Yankees' new pitcher has faced the Toronto Blue Jays once already, along with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox.
Texas Rangers
The Texas Rangers are not hitting in Texas tonight against the Oakland Athletics, but with such a great matchup against Kendall Graveman, that should not be an issue. On the season, Graveman has a 4.21 ERA and a 10-10 record. The Rangers are usable in both 50/50 contests and tournaments.
Cleveland Indians
The Cleveland Indians are one of the best hitting teams in the league, and Miguel Gonzalez and the Chicago White Sox bullpen will not be able to shut them down. On the season, Gonzalez has actually pitched well, but he does struggle from time to time, and the Indians make the best of pitchers struggle.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Cole Hamels ($9,500)
Cole Hamels has been struggling of recent for the Texas Rangers, but that is largely due to him pitching in Texas so much. He has an ERA under three on the road this season, and he should be able to shut down the Oakland Athletics' mediocre offense.
James Paxton ($7,300)
James Paxton is worth consideration in tournaments tonight against the Minnesota Twins and Kyle Gibson. The Twins are a very strikeout-prone team, and Paxton has over 20 fantasy points in three straight games now. His price tag is low, and without too many other solid options on the board, he can be used in all formats.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Catcher (C) - Russell Martin ($3,000)
Russell Martin should not be used in 50/50 contests. He is a tournament only type of player. In his last four starts, he has three, 25.2, three, and zero fantasy points. On the season, he has 20 home runs, three of which came in his last 10 games. The upside and power is there.
First Base (1B) - Tommy Joseph ($2,300)
In his last four games, Tommy Joseph has zero, 34.9, 18.7, and 12.5 fantasy points. No one can slow him down right now. With Steven Matz no longer starting for the New York Mets due to shoulder soreness, it'll be interesting to see who gets the nod on the mound.
Second Base (2B) - Scooter Gennett ($3,300)
Scooter Gennett posted over 20 fantasy points in his last games, showing off his impressive power and upside. Tonight, he gets another great matchup, this time against the Cincinnati Reds in Milwaukee. He has been hot of recent, so continue to ride the hot hand.
Shortstop (SS) - Luis Sardinas ($2,900)
Luis Sardinas, over his last four games, has been struggling. In his prior four games, he has double-digit fantasy points in all of them. He is a high-upside shortstop for a low price tag. Use him in tournaments tonight against the San Francisco Giants and Albert Suarez.
Third Base (3B) - Evan Longoria ($3,600)
Evan Longoria gets an interesting matchup tonight against the Boston Red Sox and left-hander Drew Pomeranz. On the season, the Tampa Bay Rays' power hitter has 36 home runs. His upside in tournaments is well worth his price tag.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Sean Rodriguez ($3,500)
In his last four games, Sean Rodriguez has zero, 28.7, six, and 18.7 fantasy points. The upside is there. The consistency has been there of recent. The Pirates should score runs tonight. All signs point to Rodriguez hitting value.
Andrew Benintendi ($3,100)
Andrew Benintendi is not starting every game for the Boston Red Sox, but if he does get the nod in front of Chris Young tonight, use him. He is hitting over .300 on the season with over 25 fantasy points in one of his last four games and over 10 fantasy points in two of them. The upside is there, especially at his price tag.
