There is only one more day until Labor Day. Enjoy it with some fantasy baseball!
The slate tonight is large and all day long, so there will be plenty of time to sweat out a victory. Find the best stacks and pitcher below.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball MLB lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/4/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from high-priced to low-priced options and identify options who will out-perform their expectations, including sleepers and value plays on FanDuel.
DFS Lineup Stacks to Target for FanDuel
Chicago White Sox
The Chicago White Sox get a great matchup against the Minnesota Twins and Andrew Albers tonight, a pitcher that is currently sporting a 6.97 ERA. Hitters like Jose Abreu are starting to heat up for the White Sox, and this should be a high-scoring affair. Use them in all formats.
Colorado Rockies
The Colorado Rockies are slightly better than the Arizona Diamondbacks, as Jon Gray is on the mound, and he has been great all season long, especially of recent. With Archie Bradley on the mound for the Diamondbacks, the Rockies should have no problem scoring runs. Use them mostly in tournaments, but also in 50/50 contests if necessary.
St. Louis Cardinals
The St. Louis Cardinals should be able to hit against Tim Adleman and the Cincinnati Reds tonight. Cincinnati is a great ballpark for power hitters, and the Cardinals have a few. They tend to go under-owned, which will also help in tournaments.
DFS Starting Pitchers to Consider for FanDuel
Yu Darvish ($10,500)
Yu Darvish gets a great matchup against the strikeout-prone Houston Astros, and he can be used in all formats tonight. He is the best pitcher on the board, and he should get a boost, even if he is pitching in hitter-friendly Texas.
Jose De Leon ($7,500)
Jose De Leon is making his 2016 debut tonight, but he is pitching against the San Diego Padres, so feel free to fire him up in all formats. The Padres are one of the worst hitting teams in the league, and Teheran recently proved that.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Catcher (C) - Yasmani Grandal ($3,000)
Yasmani Grandal has been struggling of recent, hitting under .200 in his last 10 games, but he does have power and upside for his price tag. He makes for a solid salary relief catcher option in tournaments against the San Diego Padres tonight.
First Base (1B) - Hanley Ramirez ($3,400)
Hanley Ramirez is one of the best hitting first basemen in the league, but he gets overshadowed by David Ortiz in daily fantasy baseball. He is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games, and he has over 18 fantasy points in four straight games. Use him in all formats.
Second Base (2B) - DJ LeMahieu ($4,100)
He may be a bit expensive, but DJ LeMahieu is one of the best hitters in the league, even when he is away from Coors Field. When he hits in Coors Field, he quickly turns elite. He is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games, and he should continue to excel tonight against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Shortstop (SS) - Tyler Saladino ($2,800)
The Chicago White Sox are set to score a few runs quick and easy tonight against the Minnesota Twins, and Tyler Saladino is finally starting to hit. He has a batting average over .300 in his last 10 games, and his price tag is still low. Use him until one of those two things change.
Third Base (3B) - Jorge Polanco ($3,300)
While the Chicago White Sox are going to score runs, it is unlikely that Anthony Ranaudo keeps runs off of the scoreboard. Jorge Polanco should be able to take advantage of his great matchup, especially right now, as he is hitting over .300 in his last 10 games. Use him in all formats.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
A.J. Pollock ($4,200)
A.J. Pollock returned at the perfect time. He is one of the league's best hitters, and he is playing in Coors Field. He has been back long enough to get back into the swing of things, quite literally. Use him in all formats tonight against the Rockies.
Michael Bourn ($2,600)
Michael Bourn is now with the Baltimore Orioles, but that does not mean that he will not be able to steal bases. As long as he starts tonight, he makes for a great tournament option due to his speed and upside, especially in a lineup that scores quite a few runs per game.
