FanDuel Quarterback - Week 6 DFS Picks
Drew Brees (vs CAR, $8,500)
Drew Brees could go a little under owned this season, as people seem to be focusing more on the Panthers offense than the Saints offense. Brees is always an elite option at home and the Panthers have been an average pass defense this season. Brees has scored 26.94 and 31.42 fantasy points in two home starts, while this game has a 53 point total. The Saints are small underdogs, which means they will be throwing the entire game, and Brees should have no problems hitting value this week.
FanDuel Running Backs - Week 6 DFS Picks
Le'Veon Bell (at MIA, $9,300)
Le'Veon Bell is one of the most expensive players on the slate, and for good reason. He's essentially a wide receiver playing running back at this point in the season. He's consistent lining up in the slot, and he has 17 targets through two games. He also has 38 carries in those games, and is truly a workhorse player. He gets a good matchup against the Dolphins where the Steelers are -7 point favorites. They should get an early lead and rely heavily on Le'Veon Bell to run the clock out in the second half. He's an elite option this weekend.
Carlos Hyde (at BUF, $7,300)
Carlos Hyde is a volume runner, and the 49ers have no problem giving him the volume he needs. He's also an elite red zone option, as he has six touchdowns in five weeks this season. He gets somewhat of a tough matchup against the Bills, but they aren't an elite defense by any means. The 49ers are big underdogs, but they are every week, and they have no problem giving Hyde the ball when they are losing. He's also coming off a six reception game, which adds even more value to him as a player. He's a high upside tournament option this week.
FanDuel Wide Receivers - Week 6 DFS Picks
Mike Wallace (at NYG, $6,400)
Steve Smith Sr. is dealing with an injury and he likely will not play this week. That will bump Mike Wallace to the top receiver, as can be seen last week when Smith got hurt and Wallace ended the game with 11 targets. The Ravens also fired their offensive coordinator, and replaced him with Marty Mornhinweg. Mornhinweg loves running the ball, but his offenses also always rank in the top of the league in big plays, which is where Wallace is at his best. He'll have a high floor because of his volume, but he also comes with an elite ceiling. He's a great option in all leagues against the Giants secondary.
Cameron Meredith (vs JAC, $5,400)
Meredith will likely be chalk this week, and it would be wise to use him. He's coming off a game in which he had nine receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown on 12 targets. Brian Hoyer recently stated that if teams are going to take away Alshon Jeffery, the Bears will have to beat them in other ways, which suggests Meredith will continue to see the large amount of targets. He's a big player with touchdown potential, and he's too cheap this week. Cash teams should be started with him.
FanDuel Tight End - Week 6 DFS Picks
Jimmy Graham (vs ATL, $6,900)
Jimmy Graham struggled early in the season, but he has 12 receptions for 213 yards and one touchdown on 17 targets over his last two games. There was a report that Graham and Russell Wilson have been working out together after practice to establish a rhythm, and it has worked out recently. He gets a good matchup against the Falcons, and the Seahawks should be able to score plenty of points this week. Graham comes with great upside, but he's significantly cheaper than the elite tight ends on the slate. He can safely be used in all leagues.
FanDuel Defense - Week 6 DFS Picks
Detroit Lions D/ST (vs LA, $4,500)
The Lions defense and special teams has struggled quite a bit this season, but this is an elite matchup. The Rams have the worst offense in the NFL, and they have struggled to score this season. The Lions haven't looked great, but they are -2.5 favorites in a game set at only 43.5 points. Unfortunately, the Vikings are on bye this week, so we'll have to find a someone else to use. The Lions will allow you to spend more money at other positions, which is never a bad idea when there is a low game total.
