What's up RotoBallers. Welcome to the second-to-last edition of my FanDuel analysis for DFS contests. Two early games on the slate (CHW/DET, LAA/HOU), so make sure to double-check lineups before 1:08 PM ET. A trio of $10K+ aces on the mound tonight, although there's some solid value plays to consider at pitcher.
My goal as always is to help you find matchups for your DFS lineups to help you win on FanDuel. The lineup picks I recommend below are based on individual player stats, trends and their DFS pricing on FanDuel. Good luck tonight RotoBallers!

Offenses to Target for FanDuel Stacking
Obviously the PIT/COL is an excellent option to target today, but that's a bit too obvious. Here's another lineup to consider:
Chicago Cubs against Zach Davies (R)
The Cubs have been on fire in the home stretch. They've won 23 of 27 games at home and solidified their spot in the NL Wild Card game. The Cubs nine game lead over Washington and San Francisco is likely unsurmountable, but don't think that will cause them to let their foot off the gas. They're still in a tight battle with Pittsburgh for the privledge to host the Wild Card game. That's bad news for Zach Davies. Davies doesn't have overpowering stuff, and considered his control struggles of late (nine walks last two outings), he could be in a rough time today. My choices here are Miguel Montero ($2,800), Starlin Castro ($3,300), Kris Bryant ($4,500), and Chris Coghlan ($2,900).
DFS Starting Pitcher to Consider for FanDuel
Justin Verlander - $8,800
Here's one for you early game players. If you remove the September 13th outing in which he had his start pushed back twice due to rain, Verlander has pitched 51.1 innings and allowed eight earned runs. Folks, that's a 1.41 ERA since August 9th. This afternoon he gets a White Sox lineup that was two outs away from getting no-hit last night. Fire away.
Drew Smyly (SP, TB) - $8,300
If you want to pay for Greinke, fine. But I don't see how you can afford some quality bats too. This brings us to Smyly. He comes in at a reasonable price and has punched out batters at a 11.41 K/9 clip over his last four starts. He's also been very successful versus the Red Sox this year, allowing only one earned run over 12 innings with 17 K's. Vegas doesn't agree with me that the Rays will take this game (+110) which should help keep ownership low for our cheap ace.
DFS Infielders to Consider for FanDuel
Travis D'Arnaud (C, NYM) - $3,300
D'Arnaud has been struggling of late, which makes paying this much hurt even more. But the team gave him a day of rest, and I'm betting that combined with a visit from Williams Perez (4-for-6, HR) will do just the trick. Plus, ownership should be low considering his recent performance.
Joey Votto (1B, CIN) - $5,000
Ya, real sleeper here. Votto has been a monster in the second half, and it's likely few are on him today given the studs available at pitching. He gets Lance Lynn today, a pitcher who's really struggled down the stretch and that he's owned in his career (.450 over 20 AB). If you have the cash it's a great way to spend it.
Neil Walker (2B, PIT) - $3,300
Coors Field. Without the Coors Field price. Christian Bergman has a 1.29 HR/9 rate. I'm gonna stop there.
David Wright: (3B, NYM) - $3,500
Sticking with The Captain here. Wright LOVES playing at Citi Field (.367 AVG) and is starting to come alive for a Mets team that desperately needs a boost. Look for the Mets to snap their three-game losing streak tonight.
Corey Seager (SS, LAD) - $3,100
Debating whether Seager will be in the lineup after Jimmy Rollins returns should not be a discussion. That said, there's no doubt in my mind Don Mattingly uses Seager tonight versus soft-throwing Chase Anderson. His 1.238 OPS versus RHP is ridiculous.
DFS Outfielders to Consider for FanDuel
Thomas Pham (OF, STL) - $3,200
No love for the Pham Man on FanDuel. He's been the eighth best hitter in the past two weeks and has been a key part of the Cardinals holding their NL Central lead. He has excellent plate discipline (2:1 K:BB) and provides a power/speed combo that's worthy of being priced closer to $4,000. Grab a share.
Curtis Granderson (OF, NYM) - $3,500
I'll let this do the talking.
Kevin Pillar (OF, TOR) - $2,600
Pillar did his part to keep the Blue Jays in that game last night, posting a line that makes roto players wet (3-for-3, HR, 2 SB). Ivan Nova has been thrown back into the rotation a week after being demoted to fill Masahiro Tanaka's spot. The hope here is the layoff from starting leads to a rough outing while Pillar stays hot.
