We have a MASSIVE 11 game slate tonight, and there are good options on the board. Stacking will be big tonight, so look for some value where you can, and then load up on the star skaters where you can afford them.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 2/22/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider
Nathan MacKinnon - C, COL @ EDM (DK - $7,500, FD- $7,900)
MacKinnon is back from his injury, and put up one goal and three assists in his most recent game. Great production, and is now going to be up against the Oilers, who are one of the worst teams in the league, and giving up over three goals per game. MacKinnon is on the first forward line and the first power-play unit for Colorado, so plenty of ice time for him to rack up another multi-point game. He is taking over three shots per game, so the scoring chances will be there for him against this weak defense.
Rick Nash - W, NYR @ MOND (DK - $5,500, FD - $6,400)
I've been saying it for weeks along with everyone else, Nash is going to be traded. So if you think he is going out there giving a bit of extra effort for some good final impressions, then this is the spot. He is up against the Canadiens, who are giving up over three goals per game. He is on the first forward line and the first power-play unit, so using him as a one off or in a stack is a good option for tonight. Nash had one goal in his most recent game, and is taking over three shots per game.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Roman Josi - D, NSH vs SJ (DK - $6,300, FD - $6,200)
Josi is one of my favorite players to roster in NHL DFS, simply from the fact he does so many different things to put up points. First off, he plays well over 20 minutes per game, and is seeing time on the power-play. So right there, he has some nice upside because of the extra offense, and this is just the start. He is taking about 3.5 shots per game, blocking over one shot per game, and has four points in his last two games. What else can you ask for? Roster him with confidence in all formats tonight.
Nick Leddy - D, NYI @ TOR (DK - $ 4,900, FD - $5,400)
Leddy is on the first defensive pairing and the first power-play for the Islanders, who are one of the best defensive teams in the league. They are up against the Maple Leafs, in a game which has an over-under set at 6.5, so you will certainly want some exposure to it. He is taking about two shots per game, blocking over one shot per game and playing about 20 minutes per game.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Jonathan Quick - G, LA vs DAL (DK - $7,800, FD - $8,800)
Quick is at home and a -135 favorite against the Stars, who are on the second night of a back to back. He has wins in two straight games, and has only allowed five goals over his last three starts. Some good numbers from a goalie who had been struggling at parts of this season. The Kings did just trade their backup goalie for another backup, but he is unlikely to see a start in his first game. I like him for either format tonight, and should be seeing over 30 shots in this game, as he has in two of his last three starts.
