We have an eight game slate tonight, and there are good options on the board. Stacking will be big tonight, so look for some value where you can, and then load up on the star skaters where you can afford them.
Vegas lines are big when it comes to picking games to target, and that's a good place to start for goalies. When it comes to skaters, goal totals is another main place to start. Usually 5.5 goals is average, so targets games at six, and can look for goalies in games with a total at five.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 3/1/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to hit me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom. Let's get to it, shall we?

DFS Forwards to Consider
Taylor Hall - W, NJ @ FLA (DK - $7,700, FD - $8,200)
What else can you say about Hall right now. He has a 22 game point streak going, and seemingly cannot be stopped when he is out on the ice. Still on that first forward line and the first power-play, so there is plenty of upside for him since he is going up against the Panthers, who are giving up over three goals per game. You could say he is the definition of consistency with this streak going on, putting up points on a nightly basis is great for any format.
Anze Kopitar - C, LA vs CLS (DK - $6,400, FD - $7,600)
Kopitar is simply too cheap on DraftKings tonight, so look to play him over there. He has six points in his last three games and is taking just under three shots per game. Kopitar is one of the more underrated centers in the league, and is a great all around player. That is shown by him taking just under three shots per game, along with blocking almost one shot per game. Koptiar and the Kings are at home against the Blue Jackets, who are a team you shouldn't be afraid of defensively. Really like him as a sneaky GPP stack tonight with the first power-play unit.
DFS Defenders to Consider
Matt Dumba - D, MIN @ ARI (DK - $4,800, FD - $4,600)
Dumba makes a nice addition to a Minnesota stack tonight, since they are up against the Coyotes, who are the worst team in the league, and giving up over three goals per game. He is on the second power-play, so look there for some stacking choices. He is taking over two shots per game and blocking just about 1.5 shots per game. Dumba plays over 20 minutes per game, and is on the first defensive pairing. He isn't that expensive, and should easily fit with most rosters.
Shayne Gostisbehere - D, PHI vs CAR (DK - $6,200, FD - $6,400)
The Flyers are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, and you want some exposure to their offense anytime it is on the slate. Gostisbehere is on the top defensive pairing and the first power-play for the Flyers, so plenty of opportunity for him to rack up points. He is taking over three shots per game and blocking over one shot per game, so I like him as a cash game option tonight. That is not to say he can't be used in tournaments, since he has multi-point upside against the Canes, who generally give up plenty of offense to the opposing team.
DFS Goalies to Consider
Martin Jones - G, SJ vs CHI (DK - $8,300, FD - $8,500)
Jones is a -160 favorite at home, and likely to come away with the win tonight, since he is up against a Blackhawks team who is struggling right now. This makes him a good cash game option for tonight, and falls into the middle when it comes to prices. He has seen 33 or more shots in three of his last four games, so plenty of time for him to pile up the points even if he lets in one goal.
