FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Noah Syndergaard, NYM vs MIA ($10,600)

Syndergaard enters today with an unsightly 5.14 ERA, but he's also got 54 strikeouts in 49 innings and has as much upside as any starter in the game. That's especially true in a matchup against the Marlins, whose 27.1% K-rate against right-handed pitching is the highest in all of baseball. The abysmal Marlins lineup also has the lowest wOBA versus righties at just .263. Syndergaard's 2.83 Deserved Run Average suggests that he's pitched significantly better than his ERA would indicate, so Thor can be started with confidence.

Griffin Canning, LAA at BAL ($7,300)

Canning flashed impressive stuff in his first two major league starts, which has resulted in 13 strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings. He's also only walked two batters, and while Canning has been unable to work deep into a start thus far, he can still be valuable in a shortened start at this cheap of a price. The Orioles are a weak lineup with a .297 wOBA against righties this year, so Canning should continue to pitch effectively.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Edwin Encarnacion: 1B, SEA at BOS ($4,000)

Encarnacion has been putting up huge power numbers over the last two weeks, posting a .954 OPS with four home runs. That trend should continue in Fenway Park, an extreme hitter's park. Opposing starter Hector Velasquez has a 4.67 SIERA, so Edwin should see plenty of RBI opportunities batting third for the Mariners.

Jonathan Schoop: 2B, MIN vs DET ($2,900)

Schoop is mashing left-handed pitching to the tune of a 166 wRC+ this year, and he faces a southpaw in Daniel Norris today. Norris has a low 17.5% strikeout-rate with a poor 4.41 FIP. Schoop is an outstanding value at this price thanks to his splits.

Yoan Moncada: 3B, CWS at TOR ($3,600)

Moncada has slowed down a bit lately but has the potential to do some damage in a hitter-friendly park in Toronto. He's in a strong spot batting second for the White Sox as they face Aaron Sanchez, who has significantly outperformed his 4.67 FIP and should regress. Moncada has plenty of upside with his power/speed combo and should be considered in GPP contests.

Adalberto Mondesi: SS, KAN vs PHI ($4,100)

Mondesi's speed continues to produce lots of fantasy value, as he's now the league leader in steals with 13. Even with a boom-or-bust profile, he's a pretty reliable bet as a leadoff hitter, as he has plenty of chances to make things happen. He could have a big day against a guy making his big league debut in Phillies starter Cole Irvin.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Ronald Acuna, ATL at ARI ($3,900)

Acuna is back in the leadoff spot where he was phenomenal last year, which could be even better for his already elite profile. The Braves lineup is one to consider stacking as they get to face Zack Godley, who was recently demoted from the rotation and has a 7.49 ERA.

Hunter Renfroe: SDP at COL ($3,800)

Any Padres bat is worth a look in Coors Field, the league's best offensive environment, and Renfroe already hit a monster home run there yesterday. His power is a perfect match for this park, and Rockies starter Antonio Senzatela has a 2.00 HR/9 this season.
