FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (5/26/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

We have a split slate today with eight games starting at 4 pm and then a six-game slate starting at 7 pm. Both slates offer some good options at pitching, along with some offenses you want to go after. The night slate has Coors Field on it, so you should be trying to get some exposure to the hitters there.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 5/26/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @DFS_Tom.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Aaron Nola - P, PHI vs TOR (FD - $9,300)

Nola comes in with a 35% strikeout rate vs right-handed hitters this season and a 25% rate overall. He comes in as -185 favorite at home vs the Blue Jays, who have a 24% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this season, which is ninth worst in the league. Nola has pitched six or more innings in eight straight starts, while only allowing three or more earned runs twice this season. He is one of the safer options on the slate and looking to be a great cash game option for your lineups.

Jack Flaherty - P, STL @ PIT (FD - $7,500)

Flaherty is coming off a monster 13 strikeout game in his most recent start and looking to continue that success. Now he won't be getting 13 strikeouts every game, but he has the ability to reach that due to his 12% swinging strike rate. He has only allowed six earned runs in his four starts this season and comes in with a 9% walk rate. Really like him on this slate and with the savings he brings to your lineups, you can get some exposure to many of the big bats you want. He also comes in with a WHP sitting at 1.04, a trend which he should be able to continue vs a very average Pirates team.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Jesus Aguilar - 1B, MIL vs NYM (FD - $3,600)

Aguilar has a .398 wOBA and a .214 ISO this season vs left-handed pitchers. Those are some massive numbers and exactly the type of player you want in your cash game lineups. He is at home in a great hitter's park, which is part of the reasoning why the Brewers have an implied run total sitting at 4.91. He is up against Jason Vargas, who is giving up a .450 wOBA to righties this year.

Ozzie Albies - 2B, ATL @ BOS (FD - $4,700)

Albies comes into this game with hits in five of his last six games and in a fantastic spot to continue producing. He has a MASSIVE .510 wOBA and a .407 ISO this season vs left-handed pitchers, which should put him on home run watch today. He is up against Drew Pomeranz, who is giving up 2.08 HR/9 to righties this season.

Anthony Rendon - 3B, WAS @ MIA (FD - $3,800)

Rendon and the Nationals should be a pretty popular option on today's slate and come in with an implied run total sitting at 4.62. They are up against Wi-Yin Chen, who is simply just a terrible pitcher. He is giving up a .423 wOBA to righties, along with 2.25 HR/9. Rendon has a four-game hitting streak in the works, with two extra-base hits.

Jean Segura - SS, SEA vs MIN (FD - $3,300)

Segura is a neutral splits hitter, meaning he is good against both lefties and righties. He has a .330 wOBA and a .140 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers and has all three of his homers against RHP. The power generally isn't there for him, but he is going up against a pitcher who is giving up 1.16 HR/9 to righties this season.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Charlie Blackmon - OF, COL vs CIN (FD - $4,800)

If you can be paying up for an expensive outfielder today, Blackmon might be the go-to guy. He comes with a .378 wOBA and a very threatening .282 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers. Love what he has done in his career vs righties, especially at home, and he is "due" for a big game. Getting up to his price isn't easy, but it can be worth the massive potential output.

Matt Joyce - OF, OAK vs ARI (FD - $2,600)

I'm convinced Matt Joyce will never be expensive. Everyday he is here under $3K, and will end up batting near the top of the lineup. How can you beat that when he is up against a right-handed pitcher. This season he has a .322 wOBA and and .173 ISO vs right-handed pitchers, making him a great salary saver, and someone you should be locking into your lineups in all formats.
