Happy Sunday DFS players. We have a typical strong slate of games with the usual risk of players being rested after a Saturday night contest, so be sure to check lineups before game time. There are quite a few strong options at starting pitcher such as reigning Cy Young winners Max Scherzer and Corey Kluber to go aces like Luis Severino, James Paxton and Carlos Martinez.
The struggling Zack Godley makes for an easy target in his visit to Coors Field, so it may be a good time to stack your Rockies. The weather looks like it could play a role in both the Giants at Nationals game, as well as Pirates at Cubs, so be sure to check weather updates accordingly.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Corey Kluber - SP, CLE (FD - $11,600)
Corey Kluber enters Sunday as one of top choices in starting pitchers on FanDuel. He also comes in as one of the most expensive at $11,600. Still, the Indians right-hander seems well worth the investment for his matchup vs. the Detroit Tigers and comes in at $600 less than Max Scherzer. The reigning Cy Young award winner carries a sparkling 1.96 ERA and 2.64 xFIP in 2018. Kluber also holds an elite 9,50 K/BB ratio. The Tigers will likely not be getting too many free passes from the Cleveland righty Sunday afternoon. The Tigers are batting .245/.303/.389 as a team vs. right-handed hitters in 2018 and hold the fourth lowest slugging percentage in the American League. Carlos Martinez may be a good option for $8,200 at the Reds, but his last shaky outing makes him a slight risk. Take the safe pick and pay up for Corey Kluber or Max Scherzer on Sunday.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Manny Machado - SS/3B, BAL @ TOR (FD - $4,500)
Manny Machado is having himself quite a season. The soon-to-be free agent is slashing .317/.384/.604 with 18 home runs, three stolen bases and a .407 wOBA. The Orioles shortstop is also hammering right-handers with a .283 ISO and .619 slugging percentage is 2018. Machado takes on Blue Jays righty Marco Estrada Sunday afternoon and the matchup looks very inviting. Estrada has a bit of a reverse split this season and has been getting tuned up by opposing righties with a .306/.333/.566 slash line and .380 wOBA. Estrada makes for an easy target with his 5.09 FIP and 1.98 HR/9, which makes Machado a great play Sunday.
Edwin Encarnacion - 1B, CLE @ DET (FD - $4,200)
Edwin Encarnacion has woke up from his annual early slumo in a big way, batting .313 with seven home runs and 20 RBI. The slugging first baseman is still striking out way too much while not walking nearly enough, but he is absolutely killing the ball. The Cleveland first baseman takes on Tigers right-hander Artie Lewicki, who has allowed a 48.6% hard contact rate this year to opposing righties. E.E. could throw up some fireworks in this matchup.
Travis Shaw - 3B, MIL @ PHI (FD - $3,700)
When it comes to destroying right-handed pitching, Travis Shaw has an impressive resume this season. The Brewers' third baseman is slashing .254/.365/.595 with a .331 ISO and a .401 wOBA. Shaw also carries an equally impressive 40.2% hard contact rate to just an 18% soft contact rate. He is currently outproducing Kris Bryant in runs, home runs, and RBI while having a silently productive season overall. Shaw will take on Phillies right-hander Zach Eflin, who does not fair well against southpaws. Eflin holds a 4.86 FIP with a .545 slugging percentage against when fscing left-handed batters. This looks like a good matchup to take advantage of.
Trevor Story - SS, COL vs ARI (FD - $4,200)
Zack Godley has been atrocious this season. The Arizona right-hander has seen a decrease in velocity and simply can't seem to replicate the magic on his 2017 campaign. He comes in Sunday's game allowing a .271/.347/.472 with a .352 wOBA to right-handed hitters. Godley also holds a less than stellar 5.82 FIP on the road, which makes Sunday's trip to Coors Field all the more enticing to stack against. Rockies shortstop Trevor Story is having a quietly monster season in 2018 with 12 home runs, 43 RBI, and eight stolen bases to go with a .347 wOBA. Story looks like a great option, along with every other Colorado player, against the struggling Godley.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Adam Jones- OF, BAL @ TOR (FD - $3,300)
Adam Jones has been en fuego the last month, batting .330 with five home runs. The Orioles all-star holds an anemic 2.3% walk rate in 2018, but has collected 10 home runs with the lowest soft contact rate of his career. Jones takes on Blue Jays right-hander Marco Estrada and makes for a great reverse split option on Sunday (see Machado).
Rhys Hoskins - OF, PHI vs MIL (FD - $3,000)
Rhys Hoskins returned from the disabled list in a big way Saturday, bashing a home run in his first game back from a fractured jaw. The Phillies slugger is under priced due to his early season slump and makes for a good value against Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff. The Milwaukee righty has allowed a .340 wOBA and 48% hard contact rate to left-handed bats in 2018 and Hoskins sure likes to hit the ball hard. $3,000 seems like a good price to take a shot on Hoskins getting on a hot streak here.
Christian Yelich - OF, MIL @ PHI (FD - $4,200)
Yelich comes in at an expensive price Sunday afternoon, but may be worth the investment against the aforementioned Zach Eflin (see Travis Shaw). Yelich has been everything the Brewers hoped he would be when they acquired him this offseason from the Marlins. The Milwaukee outfielder is batting .311 with eight home runs, 27 RBI, and 41 runs cored to go with seven stolen bases. The man can do it all and makes for a fairly safe play for production if you can afford him.
Eddie Rosario - OF, MIN vs LAA (FD - $4,200)
Eddie Rosario is easily on the the most underrated players in fantasy baseball. Unfortunately for FanDuel players, he is given the respect he deserves in DFS as far as his salary is concerned. The Twins outfielder is batting a n impressive .318 with 14 home runs, 43 RBI, and 40 runs to go with five stolen bases. Rosario also holds a .252 ISO with a .387 wOBA and 146 wRC+ in 2018. The dude can flat out hit and he is proving that his 2017 breakout was no fluke. He takes on Angels right-hander Nick Tropeano and the 46.5% hard contact he allows to left-handed hitters. Toss Rosario in your lineup.
