FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Eduardo Rodriguez, BOS vs CWS ($8,400)
Rodriguez is an interesting buy low candidate, as his 3.77 Deserved Run Average and 3.98 SIERA suggest that he's pitched much better than his 4.71 ERA. Rodriguez has a strong 25.2% K-rate and is mostly getting hurt by a .338 BABIP, which is the highest mark that he's had to deal with in his career. E-Rod's 3.45 ERA over the last month looks much better for him. He faces a White Sox lineup that is roughly league-average against lefties, with a .315 wOBA, so Rodriguez shouldn't have much trouble putting together a strong start.
Drew Pomeranz, SFG vs COL ($6,800)
Pomeranz has a terrible 7.09 ERA on the year, so he probably won't be very owned in tonight's contests. However, his 4.21 ERA at home is much less atrocious, as he pitches in one of the league's most pitcher-friendly parks. Pomeranz faces a Rockies lineup that is the worst in all of baseball on the road, with just a .285 wOBA and a 27.0% K-rate. At this low of a price, it's worth taking a chance on Pomeranz and loading up your lineup with more expensive hitters. If Pomeranz puts together a good start against this weak opponent, there is a lot of room for profit.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Lucas Duda: 1B, KAN at CLE ($2,100)
Yes, Lucas Duda is still in the majors - he actually performed quite well against right-handed pitching last year, with a 118 wRC+. He hasn't gotten things going just yet this year, missing most of the year with an injury, but tonight is the perfect opportunity against Cleveland starter Adam Plutko. Plutko has an awful 6.25 FIP with a 2.93 HR/9, so Duda looks like a useful play at a bottom-level price.
Robinson Cano: 2B, NYM at PHI ($3,000)
Cano is quite cheap for a guy batting third, as he's in a great spot to rack up runs and RBI. Cano hasn't looked like himself this season, but he can do some damage in an extremely hitter-friendly park in Philadelphia against Zach Eflin, who has outperformed his 4.02 FIP.
Josh Donaldson: 3B, ATL at CHC ($3,000)
Donaldson was yesterday's third base pick and he went 2-for-4 with a home run! His price still hasn't risen, despite a torrid two weeks where he's batted .339 with a 1.161 OPS. He gets to face a lefty in Jon Lester and is in a spot to drive in runs batting fourth for the Braves.
Francisco Lindor: SS, CLE vs KAN ($3,700)
Lindor is just about everything you could ask for in a fantasy player - he's got 12 homers and 11 steals in just 58 games while batting .291. He's in a valuable spot batting leadoff for the Indians, as just one extra plate appearance could make the difference in a contest. Royals starter Brad Keller just gave up seven earned runs last time out and should be targeted.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Kyle Schwarber, CHC vs ATL ($3,100)
The Cubs look like the top team to stack tonight as they face Julio Teheran, who owns a 4.36 FIP and got blown up for six earned runs in his last start. Schwarber is an essential piece of the stack batting leadoff at a low price, while teammates Javier Baez and Willson Contreras are also underpriced.
Giancarlo Stanton, NYY vs TOR ($4,200)
It's awesome to finally have Stanton back, as he's one of the highest upside power bats in the game. Tonight is an ideal spot for his first home run of the year, as he's at home against Aaron Sanchez, who has a 1.37 HR/9. Sanchez also has a 5.49 ERA, so even if he doesn't go deep, Stanton should have a productive game.
