FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Dinelson Lamet - SDP vs COL - $8,400
You can't go wrong with Clayton Kershaw at starting pitcher tonight, but there are plenty of discount options to consider if you don't want to pay for the most expensive player. Lamet is a top alternative, as he's in a spot for a huge start at home against the Rockies. Colorado has been the league's second-weakest lineup on the road with a measly .289 wOBA, and they'll be in an extreme pitcher's environment in San Diego. Lamet has tons of strikeout upside with his 31.4% K-rate, and he just posted 10 strikeouts his last time out. The Rockies have a 26.6% K-rate on the road, the third-worst mark in baseball. Lamet can be extremely valuable at this price.
Brendan McKay - TB vs TOR - $7,100
McKay is a contrarian pick, as he's been getting beat up lately and has poor numbers on the year. However, he can excel in this matchup against the Blue Jays, who are a bottom tier team against lefties with a .309 wOBA. McKay is at home in a pitcher-friendly park, and his low price will allow you to load your lineup up with high-end bats.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
1B - Danny Santana - TEX at BAL (Bundy) - $3,100
The Rangers lineup is a strong stack against the weakest pitching staff in the league - starter Dylan Bundy has a 4.96 ERA and a 1.70 HR/9. Santana has been cold lately but is an affordable member of the team and has a .879 OPS against righties. In a hitter's park, Texas should put up lots of runs, and Santana is in a spot for some RBI.
2B - Jeff McNeil - NYM vs PHI (Eflin) - $3,300
McNeil enters Friday hitting hot, with back-to-back multi-hit games and two homers in his last three contests. He has an outstanding 143 wRC+ against right-handers and will lead off for the Mets, which makes him a fantastic play in cash games. Opposing starter Zach Eflin has a poor 4.72 FIPs, expect McNeil to get on base and score.
3B - Rafael Devers - BOS vs NYY (German) - $3,800
Even in a tough matchup, Devers is an elite player at home against a righty. Devers has a 1.005 OPS off of righties with just a 14.9% K-rate, and he's been one of the most valuable players in fantasy with 114 runs and 107 RBI in the loaded Red Sox lineup. Look to him any time you can get him at this affordable of a price.
SS - Jonathan Villar - BAL vs TEX (Burke) - $3,400
Villar is always a target against left-handed pitching, as he's hitting .284 against southpaws. He is also one of the hottest hitters in the league, with a .957 OPS, five homers, and five steals in the last two weeks. As a member of the 20-30 club, Villar can score you points in many different ways.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Kyle Schwarber - CHC at MIL (Davies) - $3,300
Schwarber has homered in back-to-back games and now has eight in the last month, along with a .987 OPS. He's crushing righties with a .860 OPS and faces a clear regression candidate in Zach Davies, who has outperformed his 4.79 FIP and weak 15.0% K-rate. Schwarber is a GPP tournament play for his dinger upside in a hitter's park.
Ryan Braun - MIL vs CHC (Hamels) - $3,100
Braun is a platoon splits guy to take advantage of, with a 130 wRC+ against left-handed pitching. He should bat third or fourth, which can lead to lots of runs and RBI.
