FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Noah Syndergaard - P, NYM vs PHI (FD - $10,500)
Thor is on the mound tonight and he is one of the pitchers you want in your cash games. He is up against the Phillies, who have a 25% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this season, which is third worst in the league. Syndergaard has put up six or more strikeouts in four of his last five starts, a level of production he should be able to reach tonight. The Phillies do have a bit of power in their lineup, but Syndergaard is at home in a great pitcher's park, so he should be able to limit the damage.
Jose Berrios - P, MIN vs KAN (FD - $8,300)
Berrios has been underperforming as of late, but with that comes a bit of a lower price and he is in a nice bounce-back spot. He is facing off against the Royals, who come in with a team wOBA sitting at .306 vs right-handed pitchers this season, which is seventh worst in the league. Berrios has five or more strikeouts in four of his last seven starts but has given up three or more earned runs in four of those same six starts.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Justin Smoak - 1B, TOR vs CLE (FD - $3,200)
Smoak only has two hits in his last five games but is facing off against Adam Plutko, who is giving up a .457 wOBA to left-handed hitters this season. The Blue Jays have an implied run total set at 4.62, which should tell you how bad of a pitcher Plutko is.
Travis Shaw - 2B, MIL vs SFG (FD - $3,300)
Shaw versus a right-handed pitcher is always a near lock for me. He comes in with a massive .284 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season, which will make him an automatic home run candidate tonight. He is simply too cheap tonight for the ballpark and the matchup.
Matt Chapman - 3B, OAK vs TEX (FD - $4,100)
Chapman has a nice five-game hitting streak going right now and with the matchup he has tonight, he will likely extend that streak. He is up against Yohander Méndez, who is giving up a .300 wOBA to righties along with 1.17 HR/9 this year.
Jonathan Schoop - SS, MIL vs SFG (FD - $2,800)
Schoop has a .225 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season, which is surprising for a player at his price point. He should be viable in all formats tonight due to his favorable matchup, which is him being up against Chris Stratton, who is giving up .327 wOBA to righties and a 45% hard contact rate.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Jake Cave - OF, MIN vs KAN (FD - $2,500)
Cave is very cheap today and comes in with a .352 wOBA and a .226 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season, which gives him some nice power upside tonight. The price will allow you to add him to really any type of lineup, which should help you get up to the higher priced pitchers.
Franmil Reyes - OF, SDP @ CIN (FD - $3,300)
Reyes and the Padres are getting a nice positive park shift this series since they are away from home and in Cincinnati, which is a great hitter's park. He has a .246 ISO vs RHP, which should line up nicely against Matt Harvey, who is giving up 1.07 HR/9 to righties this season.
