FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/15/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

It's Tuesday, and even though it is probably the worst day of the week (in my opinion anyway), at least we have six games on tap. We have some substantial injuries to track as Derrick Rose, Darren Collison, Cory Joseph, Myles Turner, John Collins, Jeremy Lin, Dewayne Dedmon, Taurean Prince, Josh Richardson, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Gary Harris are all in danger of not playing. OKC/Atlanta leads the way in pace (109) and from a Vegas perspective with an over/under of 233.

In this DFS article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/15/19. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Russell Westbrook - PG, @ ATL ($12,000)

Out of all of the big names that are available on Tuesday, Westbrook has the highest upside because after all, the Thunder will be heading to Atlanta to take on the Hawks. Atlanta is one of the worst defensive teams in the league, currently ranked sixth overall in defensive efficiency and also are ranked in the bottom-five at each position in fantasy points allowed per game. With this game featuring a whopping pace of 109 possessions, all of my lineups will be built around him.

Stephen Curry - PG, @ DEN ($10,000)

Curry has been quietly putting together an MVP caliber season of his own, second to James Harden in points per contest. He is also shooting 45 percent from behind the arc this season and is underpriced by far. He put up 71 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Sunday so if you are looking for a guy who could easily hit his value, look no further than Steph. Even though Klay Thompson ($7,400) only had 22 fantasy points against Dallas, he is also another guy who is also severely underpriced and undervalued.

Dennis Schroder - PG, @ ATL ($5,300)

Schroder has been on a bit of a downswing over the last few months but was able to produce 41.2 fantasy point performance against the Spurs a few nights ago. He will make his first trip to Atlanta since being traded for Carmelo Anthony before the start of the season and will likely be out to make a statement against his former team on Tuesday night.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Paul George - SF, @ ATL ($9,700)

When playing, George hadn't produced less than 35 fantasy points since November 30, 2018, when the Thunder took on the Atlanta Hawks. Though that isn't an encouraging sign heading into Tuesday night's matchup, it is highly unlikely that something like that would happen again. With only a nine-point spread, look for this one to stay closer than anticipated, meaning George should remain on the floor for the majority of the contest.

Kyle Kuzma - PF, vs. CHI ($7,300)

Kuzma currently receives a five percent usage bump without LeBron James and Rajon Rondo in the lineup, and despite accumulating 41 fantasy points against the Cavs in the team's most recent game, the 23-year-old hasn't seen a steady increase in his DFS asking price. Look for him to continue to lead the team offensively until the king can make his way back into the rotation.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Steven Adams - C, @ ATL ($7,300)

With the fear of Joel Embiid and Karl-Anthony Towns offsetting each other's production, I am opting to play it safe by throwing in Steven Adams, who will have a solid matchup against a Hawks team who will likely be missing Dewayne Dedmon. Though Alex Len isn't a slouch, Adams is consistent and should hit his value at the very least on Tuesday.
