Welcome to NBA Friday night. We have five games on the board tonight, but a ton of different options to pay up for. There is value to pay down for, but we have to get it perfect in tournaments.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/27/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards
Trae Young - PG, ATL vs. MIL ($10,400)
Trae Young has been over 60 fantasy points on FanDuel in two straight games and he now gets a match-up against the fastest-paced team in basketball. The Milwaukee Bucks have played faster than anyone this year and they’ve given up the 6th most fantasy points to opposing point guards. There’s of course blowout risk here, but the Hawks are at home and the entire offense runs through Trae Young. I have a hard time seeing him finish under 50 fantasy points here and we know the ceiling is insane.
Devin Booker - SG, PHO @ GS ($6,900)
Devin Booker is under $7k on FanDuel and it’s hard to argue when you look at his recent game logs. Still, this is Devin Booker and the entire world knows the level of basketball he plays. He should have no issue getting back on track against a Warriors team that plays fast and lacks any perimeter defense. Booker is going to score at will here and I look for Ricky Rubio to allow Booker to get himself going after struggling since returning from injury. For under $7k in a plus-plus match-up, Devin Booker is a top play in all formats.
FanDuel DFS Forwards
Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF, MIL @ ATL ($11,600)
Giannis Antetokounmpo is my favorite way to pay up on the slate. It’s not hard to find the room for both Giannis and Young, but I’ll take Giannis is you make me pick one. The Hawks play loose and fast and are the perfect match-up for Giannis, who thrives on peripherals. He’s going to dominate any team offensively, but his upside comes from the surrounding stats he can put up in bunches. Giannis is going to be mad after struggling va the Sixers and I expect him to make a statement against the Hawks. Anything less than 60 fantasy points would shock me and I’ll have 100% exposure in turn.
P.J. Washington - PF, CHA vs. OKC ($5,200)
Washington hasn’t played in over a week, but he’s probable to play here and isn’t expected to be on a minutes limit. Washington was consistently getting 35+ minutes before getting hurt and they need him back badly. The Thunder aren’t a scary match-up, ranking 22nd in the league against athletic PF’s. The price on Washington has fallen quite a bit on FanDuel and he’s now an extreme value. Expect 25+ fantasy points in his debut from injury.
FanDuel DFS Centers
Aron Baynes - C, PHO @ GS ($4,100)
With DeAndre Ayton out at least another game, Aron Baynes will be locked into another 30 minutes and this match-up with Golden State is as good as it gets. Willie Cauley-Stein is a terrible defender and the Warriors have allowed the 4th most FP’s to opposing C’s since November. Baynes hasn’t shown his upside in the last few games, but all you need is 25 in cash games and his 50+ upside is hard to fade at one of the weakest positions on the slate.
