FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (5/6/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

The Playoffs continue with both the Celtics and Rockets each looking to knot up their respective series before hitting the road. From a Vegas standpoint, both of the games scheduled features a projected overall score of 221 points. In terms of injuries, things are quiet with the only significant news of note being the potential return of Marcus Smart, who has been out since the end of the regular season due to an oblique injury.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 5/6/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks as well as NBA starting lineups. Find me on Twitter @Den_Clausen. Good luck.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Stephen Curry - PG, @ HOU ($8,900)

Historically priced over $10,000, Curry is a steal even with his lack of efficient play as of late in addition to him suffering a dislocated left middle finger in Game 2 of this series. Coach Kerr indicated in a recent interview that he would like to see more involvement from the "Splash Brothers," making both the former MVP and Klay Thompson attractive targets since they will likely be utilized more in the Warriors' plan of attack.

Jaylen Brown - SG, vs. MIL ($5,700)

Brown has played very well in this series with his most recent performance in the Game 3 loss to the Bucks resulting in 18 points on 6-for-12 shooting from the field. Even if Marcus Smart is back in the picture, which is still doubtful at this point, he will likely see limited minutes, resulting in extra playing time for Brown for at least one more game.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF, @ BOS ($11,800)

After a rough start to the series that resulted in only 38.6 fantasy points for Antetokounmpo in Game 1, he turned it around in Games 2 and 3, averaging 61.7 fantasy points during that span. He will likely have another solid night as the Bucks look to take another one in Boston before heading back to Milwaukee for Game 5.

Jayson Tatum - PF, vs. MIL ($7,000)

After vowing to pick it up, Tatum finished with a double-double across 36 minutes in Game 3 after scoring only nine points in the first two contests. He is still generously priced and could hit his value with no issues in Game 4. If $7,000 is too rich for your blood, Marcus Morris, who is averaging nearly 30 fantasy points a game in this series, is available for only $5,900.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Clint Capela - C, vs. GSW ($7,400)

The Warriors will utilize the "Death Lineup" once again in Game 4, giving Capela a marginal size advantage over everyone on the floor. Producing a healthy 34 fantasy points in Game 2, the big man mimicked that performance by producing nearly the same amount of Game 3. The selections for the center position are ugly on Monday night with Capela being the most likely to have a decent performance out of anyone available.
