Fantasy Basketball - Dynasty Rundown for Week 14

Welcome to RotoBaller's weekly dynasty league rundown! Dynasty leagues are becoming more and more popular, and we're here to keep you ahead of the game.

Each week, we'll touch on topics and players that may not necessarily be relevant in single-year formats, but they can make a splash in keeper leagues.

With that being said, let's look at the dynasty rundown for Week 14.

Guards

Malik Beasley, Denver Nuggets

Beasley was pegged as a breakout candidate coming into the season, but it hasn't panned out yet. Point guard Jamal Murray (ankle) went down for the foreseeable future with a sprained ankle. Beasley broke out with 27 points Thursday, but he followed it up with two points in 14 minutes. He'll have ebbs and flows, but he presents the kind of upside you hope for at this stage of the season in deeper leagues.

Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons

The Pistons have been a mess all year with injuries, but Jackson (back) could be back this week. He has missed all but two games due to a back injury. With forward Blake Griffin (knee) possibly out for the year, Jackson could be the team's first option on offense. If he's floating on waivers, he should be picked up immediately.

Forwards

Trevor Ariza, Portland Trail Blazers

The 34-year-old is known for his lockdown defense, but he'll enter the starting lineup with his new team. Guard C.J. McCollum (ankle) is on the mend, and Ariza could provide some supplemental scoring from long range. The Blazers are a run-and-gun team, and he could carve out a useful role in the offense.

Jerami Grant, Denver Nuggets

Grant is another Nugget player that has benefited from a slew of injuries. He has scored in double figures in four of five games. He's shooting 37 percent from distance and will pepper in some boards as well. Forward Paul Millsap (knee) is declining, and it's only a matter of time before his minutes become restricted. Grant has a chance for an extended run.

Centers

Nicolas Claxton, Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn has unleashed their second-round pick after center DeAndre Jordan (finger) went down. Claxton has posted 14 and 15 points, respectively in the last two games. He'll grab a few boards, but he isn't a glass vacuum. He should be scooped up for depth in deeper formats.

Ian Mahinmi, Washington Wizards

The 11-year veteran went through a dry spell recently, and he was dropped in a lot of leagues. He must have taken objection to it, and he scored 21 points with seven boards and three blocks Monday. Mahinmi will remain in the rotation, and if he's floating on your waivers, he's still worth throwing out there for points and boards.
