Fantasy Basketball - Dynasty Rundown for Week 16

Welcome to RotoBaller's weekly dynasty league rundown! Dynasty leagues are becoming more and more popular, and we're here to keep you ahead of the game.

Each week, we'll touch on topics and players that may not necessarily be relevant in single-year formats, but they can make a splash in keeper leagues.

With that being said, let's look at the dynasty rundown for Week 16.

Guards

Bruce Brown Jr., Detroit Pistons

The Pistons have been an injury-riddled mess all year, and Brown had a binge earlier this season. He went  off in a back-to-back set this week with 19 points, 10 boards and eight dimes Sunday and 12 points, seven boards and four assists Monday. The Pistons are going nowhere and are looking to move some veteran guards, which will open an even bigger lane for Brown to fill. We're buying his stock.

Terence Davis, Toronto Raptors

The rookie is coming off a career-high 31 points and six three-pointers, but it was just his third time in double figures in the last nine games. Guard Norman Powell (finger) is out indefinitely with a fractured finger, and Davis could have an opening for more production. If he's floating on waivers, give him the speculative grab.

Monte Morris, Denver Nuggets

The third-year man from Iowa State has seen increased minutes with injuries to the backcourt, and he looks to be gaining a comfort level. He had 19 points, seven boards and seven dimes in their most recent game. Point guard Jamal Murray (ankle), small forward Michael Porter Jr. (ankle) and power forward Paul Millsap (knee) are all banged up. Morris and shooting guard Malik Beasley's development is critical right now with the Nuggets in third place in the West. Both players should be owned in deeper formats.

Forwards

Dorian Finney-Smith, Dallas Mavericks

Finney-Smith has gone on an offensive run the last three games with 16.3 points and 8.7 boards per game. Power forward  Kristaps Porzingis (knee) missed one of those games, and guard/forward Luka Doncic (ankle) remains out, which has thrust Finney-Smith into the spotlight. He's a slept-on player that could be available in deeper formats, and this is a good time to stream him.

Cody Martin, Charlotte Hornets

The second-round pick opened eyes with 13 points, eight boards, three assists and three steals Monday. It was just his third time scoring in double figures this year, which makes him the ultimate pickup based on speculation.

Centers

Moritz Wagner, Washington Wizards

Wagner (ankle) returned from a five-week absence Monday, and he posted eight points and two boards in 12 minutes of action. The Wizards are thin in the frontcourt, and it's a matter of  time before they start phasing 33-year-old Ian Mahinmi out. Wagner figures to eat up some of those minutes.
