Fantasy Football Players With Rising Stock Value
Andre Williams - NYG, RB - I already put Andre Williams on my stock up list a few days ago, but after this performance, wow. Williams broke arm tackles, showed burst, decisive lateral movements, it was an all around great performance of individual running back skill. He's someone you have to keep an eye on as the preseason moves on because the Giants love to split their backs but unless Williams shows he can catch like Jennings can, he will be stuck playing second fiddle. One thing that kind of stuck out to me was that with the first team offense in the game, Rashad Jennings was taken out for Williams.
Rashad Jennings - NYG, RB - I know i just talked up his backup, but Jennings showed one thing for certain, he can catch. That's going to give him a lot of opportunities to put together yards and good games. Jennings is now firmly placed as a mid to low RB2 for me, but it's great to see him catch consistently and fluidly.

Giants Offensive Line: Man, what a bad display. Certainly the Bills first team defensive line is nothing to scoff at, but the rate at which holes were closing and pressure was coming on was just awful to see.
Sammy Watkins - BUF, WR - I loved Watkins tape, but my immediate reaction after seeing Watkins was not good. He looked like he was having trouble gaining the type of separation he became known for in college, and wasn't blowing up defenders the way you would expect. There was one post where he looked like he got open and Manuel didn't see him, and when they reran the same play right after, Manuel got picked off. Earlier, on an overthrow, Watkins had a release off the line of scrimmage that I thought was really weak where he tried to fake out the CB with just a small little step. The corner didn't bite and had him blanketed on Manuel's overthrow.
Notable Performances From The 2014 Hall Of Fame Game
C.J. Spiller - BUF, RB - One I'm really upset to see here, Spiller took a play up the middle and just seemed rusty. Even though two players got into the hole, his usual shake came late and it seemed like he just wasn't playing at his normal speed. We're hoping with a few more games that turns around.
