Fantasy Hockey Sleepers and Waiver Wire Pickups at Forward

 Aleksander Barkov (FLA, C) 31% Owned

The Panthers top line of Barkov, Jaromir Jagr and Jonathan Huberdeau has pushed them to the Atlantic Division lead which is a surprise to most people. Huberdeau was mentioned as a pickup last week and is now over 50% owned. This turns our attention to Barkov who has picked up seven points in his last six games with 22 shots and a +7 rating. He makes a must add if you have an open roster spot or injury.

Mikkel Boedker (ARI, LW/RW) 29% Owned

He has come out of the Christmas break red hot and should be added if you need some offensive help. On Boxing Day, he picked up three assists in a loss to the Kings and followed that up with a goal and an assist the next day in a win in Colorado. He is now up to 28 points on the season and has added 84 shots on net. He is a liability on the defensive end with a -9 rating this year but adds too much on the offense to be on the waiver wire.

Leo Komarov (TOR, C/LW) 46% Owned

He leads the Leafs in goals(15) and is tied for 2nd in points(24) and has added six powerplay points. He is averaging over 11 iCorsi/60 which has lead to a ton of shots and added value for the Leafs winger. He adds additional value with faceoffs and hits as well if your league counts those stats.
