It was a smaller slate last night, but we're back to a huge slate tonight. That means there are multiple ways to go about constructing lineups. There are elite, mid-priced, and value options at every position tonight, which makes for a great slate of games.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FantasyDraft on 8/22/17. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FantasyDraft Starting Pitchers to Consider
Chris Archer - vs TOR ($24,000)
Archer has had a few ups and downs this season, but he has found quite a bit of success at home. Through 13 home starts, he has a 3-4 record, 3.43 ERA, and 12.1 K/9. He gets an elite matchup against a weak Toronto offense, and Archer is a -194 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs. He can be used in all leagues on the slate tonight.
Lance Lynn - vs SD ($14,800)
Lynn has been playing at an elite level recently, although he has struggled with his strikeout rate. Over his last 10 games, he has a 5-1 record with a 1.93 ERA and a 6.1 K/9. He gets a matchup against the Padres, who have arguably the worst offense in the MLB. Lynn is currently a -193 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs, and he can be used in all leagues.
FantasyDraft Infielders to Consider
Kris Bryant - IF/OF, at CIN ($9,900)
Bryant is hitting around .400 with a slugging percentage around .800 over his last 10 games. He has also been a significantly better hitter on the road, as he's hitting well over .300 away from home this season. He gets an elite matchup against Homer Bailey in a hitter friendly stadium, and Bryant makes an elite option on this slate.
Ozzie Albies - 2B, vs SEA ($6,800)
Albies has only spent a short amount of time in the Majors, but he has looked like an elite hitter against left-handed pitching. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against Marco Gonzales in an extremely hitter friendly stadium. He can be considered in all leagues for his low price tag.
Adam Rosales - 3B, at NYM ($4,400)
Rosales is a hitter that is known for specializing against left-handed pitching. He gets a good matchup against Tommy Milone, and Rosales is extremely cheap. He has found ways to stay consistent when given a full games worth of at-bats, and Rosales makes an outstanding salary relief option on the slate tonight.
FantasyDraft Outfielders to Consider
Jay Bruce - RF, vs BOS ($9,200)
Bruce has been playing at an exceptionally level since he was traded to the Indians. He's hitting over .350 with a slugging percentage nearing .750 over his last 10 games. He has also dominated right-handed pitching this season, and he gets a great matchup against Doug Fister tonight. Bruce can safely be used in all leagues tonight.
Curtis Granderson - CF, at PIT ($9,600)
Granderson is another former Met that has looked outstanding since joining his new team. He hasn't been hitting for the highest average, but he has displayed tremendous power over his last few games. He gets a good matchup against Jameson Taillon, and Granderson hits right-handed pitching well. He can be used in all leagues.
Austin Jackson - CF, vs BOS ($7,200)
The Indians have had one of the best offenses in the MLB over the last week, and Jackson has been a huge part of that. He's hitting over .300 with a slugging percentage over .600 over his last 10 games. He gets a great matchup against Doug Fister, and while he has been a better hitter against left-handed pitching this season, Jackson can be used in all leagues.
