BALLER MOVE: Target Mid-to-Late Rounds in All Leagues
ANALYSIS: I just did a fantasy baseball draft, and let's just say that Francisco Rodriguez was taken much later than he should have been. Maybe it's the fact the he signed late this offseason, or maybe people just don't believe in his skill set. Well at his current ADP of 185 (or about the 19th round of a 10-team draft), he's a steal, and therefore is appearing on our list of closer/saves draft sleepers. He can return a monster return on your draft day investment.
In case ya'll forgot, K-Rod piled up 44 saves last year for the Brew Crew, good for 3rd best in the National League and 5th best in all of MLB. He also racked up a very impressive 3.04 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 73 K in 68 IP. Personally, I don't really care where I get my saves from if I'm playing in a standard 5x5 league, but these are elite numbers we're talking about. Drafting elite numbers, at a severely discounted price, is always a good idea in fantasy. I'll be targeting him in every one of my remaining drafts, and you should be too.
