Todd Frazier is in the lineup Wednesday night against the Chicago Cubs after exiting Tuesday’s game with a heel injury.
It was originally believed that the Cincinnati Reds third baseman was going to be done for the last five games of the season, but when the Reds said it was a “slight” strain of his right Achilles tendon, they were right. Frazier is playing third and batting cleanup.
Frazier, Phillips in the lineup. Votto is not. #Reds

Frazier hurt his heel while attempting to catch a foul ball. The 29-year-old came up limping after he slid.
Fantasy owners are now breathing a sigh of relief because Frazier is a tough player to replace in their respective lineups. He owns a .238 BA though he has a career-high 35 HR and 88 RBI this season. It’s production that fantasy owners won’t have to sweat over. It’s still worth keeping an eye on to see how his heel reacts to playing nine innings on Wednesday.
Joey Votto is not in the lineup despite hitting the ball really well of late.
