MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks

 Zach Plesac  UNDER 3.5 strikeouts (-140 DraftKings Sportsbook)

Plesac is not much of a strikeout pitcher as he managed to post just a 6.31 K/9 in 2021. He has also managed to go over this total in just one start this season when he struck out four Giants back on April 15th. He has a tough matchup tonight against the Padres who are posting the best K rate against right-handed pitchers over the previous two weeks with a rate of just 18.8% while also posting a wRC+ of 114.

 Carlos Rodon  OVER 7.5 strikeouts (+100 DraftKings Sportsbook)

We have another plus odds K prop to take a look at tonight in Carlos Rodon. He has been fantastic to begin 2022 as he has now struck out a whopping 38 batters across his first 23 innings pitched. He will get the Dodgers tonight who are posting the 11th-highest K rate vs. left-handers over the previous two weeks with a rate of nearly 24%. This is also a number that Rodon has hit in each of his first four starts to begin 2022.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks

Charlie Blackmon OVER 1.5 total bases (-110 DraftKings Sportsbook)

Blackmon has started the season relatively hot against right-handed pitching as he is currently posting a .905 OPS with four dingers against them. He gets a solid matchup in Coors against Eric Fedde who has given up a 5.17 FIP to left-handed hitters thus far in 2022 and allowed 13 home runs to them a season ago.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. OVER 1.5 total bases (+105 DraftKings and Caesars Sportsbook)

Vladdy has been torturing right-handed pitching to begin 2022 as he now has a .925 OPS with six home runs thus far. He will be facing Jameson Taillon who has struggled a bit vs. righties in 2022 by allowing 17 hits and two home runs across just 10 1/3 innings pitched vs. them. Vlad is also 3-for-9 with one home run against Taillon in his career, which is not a large sample size but still promising nonetheless.
