Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman will not start any more games this season.
The slugger has been dealing with a nagging right wrist injury, which will knock him out of the lineup for the final five games. Freeman could be used as a pinch-hitter, but his fantasy owners will have to find a replacement immediately.
Freeman will likely not start any of the remaining five games. But he'll be available as a pinch hitter

The 26-year-old went 0-for-7 over his last three games, but prior to that, he was hitting the ball well. It’s bad timing for his fantasy owners because he had two home runs and 11 RBI over his last 13 games. Freeman failed to make his third straight All-Star team, but will likely finish the season with a .278 BA, 18 HR and 66 RBI.
There are a number of combinations the Braves could use to fill the void at first base over the five remaining games this season. Nick Swisher, Hector Olivera or one of the September call-ups could get some playing time.
