BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Garrett Jones is not a flashy exciting player with a lot of potential. We've seen the best that Jones can be in 2012 when he hit .274 with 27 HR and 86 RBI. Or perhaps in 2009 when he hit 21 HR in just 82 games. Either way, Garrett Jones 2014 Miami Marlins 1B is not going to put up those numbers. What he can be is a cheap source of power in deep leagues. The batting average almost certainly won't get better. I have him pegged for about .250. But as as long as he continues to get playing time I see him hitting 20+ home runs. Outside of the power, nothing is above average for Jones. He won't walk much and he won't steal bases. Jones is not a very attractive option but if you find yourself starved for power in a deeper league you could probably do worse.
