BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 20% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Garrett Temple hasn't exactly been the model of consistency over the last few weeks. Sure, Yahoo Sports has him ranked as the 99th individual fantasy production, but the 10-year veteran also has four single-digit outings since Nov. 19. Across that same time, though, the good has far outweighed the bad.
Ever since Caris LeVert went down after undergoing thumb surgery, Temple has stepped into a more prominent role with the Brooklyn Nets. He's started their last 10 games and not a single one saw him with less than 30 minutes of action.
Temple averaged 12.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game over that roughly three-week span. He's shooting 39.0 percent from beyond the arc with 3.0 makes per game and has made multiple three-pointers in four of Brooklyn's last five games. In fact, Temple hasn't gone 0-for from distance since Nov. 2.
Whenever LeVert makes his return, Temple will likely slide back to the bench and watch his minutes dwindle under 30. What that means for his production is up to him and the way he decides to shoot the ball.
Until then, Temple's production from the three-point line warrants a pick-up in deeper leagues as long as his playing time remains consistent.
