BALLER MOVE: Add in 10-Team PPR Leagues
OWNED IN: 47% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison may be the perfect player to target this week. After missing a Week 6 matchup against San Francisco, Allison's ownership dipped under 50%, a shocking fact considering his usage for the Packers. The 24-year-old built a rapport with Aaron Rodgers over the offseason, giving good signs that he is going to be used more as the season progresses.
Talking about usage, Allison was targeted 11 times against the Bills in Week 5 and has been targeted at least six times in three of the last four games. In the game where he was not targeted six times, he was targeted four times against the Redskins in Week 4, Allison caught two of his targets for 76 yards and a 64-yard touchdown. While his 15.2 yard per catch average is skewed by his 64-yard catch, Allison still has caught 19 of his 29 targets this season.
The Packers are on bye this week, giving Allison time to heal his ailing hamstring. While we would not normally suggest players on bye, Allison is highly targeted by an elite QB; this is a rare opportunity to get a receiver that could get 10+ targets per game from Rodgers off of waivers this late in the season. He should be added in most leagues, particularly those that are PPR.
