ANALYSIS: Are we sure Giannis is the best player on the Bucks roster? Seriously? Obviously, that's obvious. What I mean by that is that nobody is touching Giannis, nor Khris Middleton, nor Jrue Holiday for that matter either, but what about Grayson Allen's start to the year? Can't get any better if you ask me.
Allen, who was signed this past offseason to come off the pine and provide microwave minutes as a reserve, has started every game so far this season. Nine of them. He's a lock to hit the 30 minutes of playing time nightly, his usage isn't that far from average (19.3% since the end of October), and he is reaching those marks without turning the ball over virtually at all. Oh, I've forgotten to discuss what really makes Allen appealing for every fantasy GM out there: everything else.
Only once has Allen fallen behind double-digit points this season (21 minutes against Detroit on Nov. 2), but other than that he's putting up an impressive 14 PPG to go with 3.4 3PM per game. Yes, more than three treys a day. In fact, he's hit at least two long-range shots every game this season. He's almost perfect from the line too (11-of-12) and he's adding 4+ RPG, 1+ APG, and 1+ stocks per game to that while shooting 41.5% from the field. No excuses to not have Allen roster in almost every league out there.
