BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 44% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The Reds have used a variety of relievers in the ninth inning this year, as expected, but it's unlikely many anticipated Heath Hembree being one of them. The veteran has six saves on the season, nailing down five of the team's last six opportunities headed into the break (Amir Garrett got the other one, likely because Hembree had pitched in each of the prior two games). While he isn't without risk as an extreme fly ball pitcher with a career 1.65 HR/9, Hembree's evolution into a strikeout artist (51 K in 30 innings this season) blunts the impact of those dingers a bit.
Cincinnati's flexible and fluid approach to the final frame may mean Hembree doesn't have a lock on the job, but he's worth rostering as long as opportunities are coming his way.
