Adeiny Hechavarria is out of the Miami Marlins lineup again on Tuesday against the New York Mets.
It has been almost two weeks since the Marlins shortstop has started in a game for his team. A strained left hamstring has kept him out of the lineup but has not forced him to land on the DL yet. It’s unclear whether Hechavvarria will return at all this season since there's only a few weeks left.

The 26-year-old shortstop has a .281 BA with 5 HR and 48 RBI over 103 games this year in what has been his best season throughout his four-year career. Hechavvarria has proved that he could be in the Marlins lineup every day and produce.
Miguel Rojas will continue to fill in at short. It’s been a struggle this season in limited action. Rojas has a .213 BA with zero homers and 10 RBI.
The Marlins will look to avoid their third straight loss as they take on the Mets in the second of a three-game series.
