The NFL season is set to kick off in a week. Fantasy drafts are happening every day, with many happening this weekend. Fantasy managers all over are prepping and formulating their draft strategies.
The quarterback position is one of the trickiest to draft. Many like to snag one in the middle rounds to ensure they have a player they feel they can depend on for the entirety of the season. Others will wait until the later rounds to find that hidden gem that could provide the same value.
One player fantasy managers need to consider as a "late-round" option is veteran Kirk Cousins.

Is Kirk Cousins Going To Improve For Fantasy Football This Season?
Kirk Cousins finished as the QB12 overall last season, averaging 19.2 fantasy points per game. This season, the offensive scheme has changed for the better, with new head coach Kevin O'Connell taking over. O'Connell was the Los Angeles Rams offensive coordinator the past two seasons, helping lead the team to a Super Bowl victory last season.
The passing attack is set to look much different in Minnesota. The team has been using three wide receiver sets throughout most of camp. Minnesota passed the ball just three fewer times than the Rams last season but scored seven fewer passing touchdowns and threw for 665 fewer yards.

The play calling will change, and with the slew of talented pass-catchers in Minnesota, the passing attack can reach its full potential with O'Connell calling the shots. Cousins will be able to maximize his fantasy scoring, potentially beating out his QB12 overall finish from last season.
Is Kirk Cousins A Good Fantasy Football Pick?
On average, Cousins is currently being drafted as the 15th quarterback off the board in the 10th round. With the offense set to improve in terms of efficiency and play calling, the 34-year-old is set up to have one of his best fantasy seasons.

As a 10th-round pick, Cousins is a perfect option for those who look to draft a quarterback late in drafts. There is a good chance he goes even later in most home leagues.
