Najee Harris got off to a slow start for fantasy managers in Week 1 as he carried the ball 10 times for 23 yards and added two receptions for an additional three yards against the Bengals.
A receiving touchdown somewhat salvaged his day, but the season opener was a disappointment nonetheless.
Still, we shouldn't overreact just yet. One poor performance shouldn't define him for the rest of the regular season.

Is Najee Harris Healthy or Injured?
To make things worse, the sophomore exited the game early with a foot injury. He was dealing with a Lisfranc sprain prior to the start of the regular season, and it looks like the ailment he suffered in Week 1 was related to the issue he was dealing with throughout the summer.
However, fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. After running some tests on his foot, Harris was cleared of any major injuries that would put him on the shelf for an extended period of time.
Tests today on Steelers’ RB Najee Harris’ foot injury came back negative and there is a belief that, according to a source, he “should be good to go” Sunday vs. the Patriots.

Will Najee Harris Be Active In Week 2?
Adam Schefter reported that Harris “should be good to go” and is expected to be on the field in Week 2 against the New England Patriots. The former Alabama collegiate star said himself that he “will be back at practice this week and will be playing on the weekend.”

Despite this, it wouldn't hurt fantasy managers to consider putting in a claim for the Steelers' backup running back Jaylen Warren as some insurance to Harris. Warren has leapfrogged Benny Snell Jr. and has been listed as the No. 2 running back on the depth chart to start the season.
Still, considering Harris doesn't expect to miss any time, Warren is nothing but a speculative add at this point.
Should I Start Najee Harris for Week 2 Fantasy Football?
As long as Harris is in the lineup, he will remain a must-start option given his usage as a workhorse in the Pittsburgh offense. As of now, it is unknown if this injury will be something that he will have to keep managing as the season progresses.
