BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deep Leagues Only
Owned in 34% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Cleveland is back to being the Ben Tate show. After missing three weeks, including the benefit of an early bye, he came back for 123 yards on 22 carries for 12.3 standard points. He dominated Tennessee’s defense and looked healthy doing so. What that means for Isaiah Crowell, is not much, which is precisely what his fantasy value is when Tate is on the field.
Yes, Crowell had nice games Week 1 and 3 for a combined 26.7 points, but look at it like this: Crowell never had more than 11 carries any week, only had 6 this past week, and the most yards he has rushed for is 55 yards in a single game. The way I process that information is that unless he hits the end zone, he’s not startable. Considering Tate is back, and Terrence West seems to be the better goal line back, I don’t see him celebrating TDs too often.
If you didn’t already cash in on Crowell while Tate was hurt, as he is owned in only 36% of Fleaflicker leagues, I can’t see you taking the chance on him now in standard leagues. Deep leagues he might be worth stashing, but Crowell, along with West, won’t be fantasy relevant unless Tate misses more time.
