BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+team Leagues
OWNED IN: 33% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: J.J. Barea has been making the most of his playing time as Deron Williams deals with a hamstring injury. In four games since being inserted into the starting lineup, Barea has averaged over 22 points per game on 63% shooting, including 32 on Wednesday, Dec. 23 against the Brooklyn Nets. He has also averaged 6.8 assists over this stretch despite only managing more than four assists per game in one season over the course of his 10-year career. Barea has been more efficient all year than both Williams and Raymond Felton, so given the success he has attained in recent games, he may continue to see increased minutes. Barea is a must-start as long as Williams is out, and even when the Mavericks are at full strength, he is worth a roster spot in deep leagues.
