BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 27% of Yahoo leagues
ANALYSIS: Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley is a defensive ace who occasionally has shown some success with the bat. In 2016, for example, he posted a line of .267/26/94/87/9.
While that is likely the upper end of his ability, the 27 year-old has some power, a touch of stolen-base ability, and should not hurt you badly in the other categories. Facing decent pitching matchups this week (Angels and Athletics), he is a serviceable play if the top options are off the board.
Beyond this week, though, Bradley does have value in a Red Sox offense that has been the league's best to open the season. Even near the bottom of the lineup, there will be opportunities for Bradley to drive in runners and the team may also be aggressive with him on the base paths, with manager Alex Cora saying this offseason that Bradley has 20-stolen base potential.
