BALLER MOVE: Add In 12-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 42% of leagues
ANALYSIS: I'm making an exception here going over the 40% ownership threshold, but Jae Crowder totally merits it. The chances are lower you will find him still available for free in your league, sure, but if you do you shouldn't hesitate to add him to your roster as soon as possible. If you have not paid attention to what has happened in the NBA lately you might have missed the Memphis-Miami trade that put Crowder in Florida. The sunny days seem to have done wonders for him.
Since Crowder change teams he's been a force of nature. Sure, he's no longer starting games (one start in his five with the Heat) but other than that he's playing to his best levels of the year. Crowder is averaging 16.2 ppg, 6 rpg, 1.4 apg, 2.2 spg, and scoring 3.4 triples per game! The shooting has been ridiculous so far with the forward hitting 56.1 percent of his attempts from the floor and scoring at least three long-rangers in four of his five games.
While he logged 35 and 31 minutes in his first couple of games, the ticks have gone down to around 25 per since but even those are already a good amount for someone coming off the bench and with his levels of production. Crowder is always a scoring threat, won't finish any game under 15 points, has the upside to get into the 20s and brings good rebounding abilities to the equation. Sprinkle a few assists (2.6 apg on the year) and steals (1.1 spg) and you get the complete package, and I'm not even mentioning the three-point shooting (1.9 3pm per game on the season). Must-add, no matter the league structure or size.
