Baller Move: Add in Two-Catcher leagues
Owned in: 13% of Fleaflicker leagues
Analysis: When first glancing at Jason Castro's .397 SLG and 33.6% strikeout rate, he would appear downright un-ownable. However, when seeing that Castro has an isolated power figure of .182 and a walk percentage of 17.1% that produces his solid .349 OBP, Castro looks a little more encouraging. In 50 AB in April, Castro was horrendous, producing zero home runs and a slash line of .140/.271/.240.
This month however, Castro has been fantastic, producing all four of his home runs on the season and a slash line of .268/.402/.507. The platoon split also makes a big difference for him. Castro is slugging .488 against RHP, but just .171 against southpaws. Castro is even slugging .481 with Astro runners in scoring position this season. His month of April was ugly, but his fantastic month of May is much more consistent with his career trends, so cash in on Castro's resurgence while he still has 87% availability.
