BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 35% of Yahoo leagues
ANALYSIS: Cleveland Indians infielder/outfielder Jason Kipnis is having a rough 2018 overall, but he has been an offensively powerful player of late. While he only has 12 hits in September (.222 batting average), six of those hits have been extra base hits. Kipnis also has 16 RBI in September (seven runs scored as well) and has even chipped in with a stolen base.
While he has had his struggles at the plate of late (hits in four of the last six games but just one hit in each game), Kipnis did have a four game streak with an RBI. Since the Indians will likely bench starters with the AL Central clinched, Kipnis will likely bat near the top of the Indians lineup for the last week or so.
A low batting average makes Kipnis less desirable, but his power surge combined with some speed and run production is good for the stretch run. He is more of a play in deeper leagues, but can pay dividends.
