BALLER MOVE: Add in Very Deep Leagues
Analysis: Let me begin with stating this: Baez will be fantasy gold, it's just a matter of when. He has a ton of power, solid plate discipline, and plays a premium position. The Cubs have already spoke to Castro about moving from shortstop to open up a spot for Baez, and Baez is playing at 2B in Triple-A, so it's evident he is coming this season. Using a valuable roster spot on a guy who is playing in the minors is a tough sell to a lot of fantasy ballers, but to those skeptics I simply ask if you could pick up a potential top 5 shortstop right now, would you? The key point here is you don't want to miss out on this stud who, if he is called up June 1st, will bat close to .280 BA with 15-20 HR, and 60+ RBI the rest of the way. Baez has more power for a SS than any shortstop prospect since A-Rod.
