BALLER MOVE: Target ~80 (Current ADP: 98, QB: 14)
ANALYSIS: For those of you who are seeking a sleeper QB option look no further than Jay Cutler. While Cutler has some risk with his injury history (his last full season was 2009), he does come with some upside. Chicago Bears new head coach and offensive minded guru Marc Trestman's offense in 2013 was tied for 2nd (with New England) for most points per game at 27.8. With the offensive weapons on the Bears including Brandon Marshall, Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery and Martellus Bennett at his disposal, plus a 2nd full season of an improved offensive line, I expect at least a repeat in 2014, if not a step forward. Last season Cutler achieved a career best QB rating (89.2) and his 2nd highest completion (63.1%) in 11 games and was on pace to shatter personal best statistics until injuries derailed him. If Cutler and the Bears offensive weapons stay healthy I believe Cutler could have a career best year and reap benefits for fantasy owners. If you are seeking a decent backup QB or looking for a cheap QB draft option, then Cutler is a very nice choice.
