BALLER MOVE: Add for BLK and REB
OWNED IN: 10% of Yahoo! Fantasy Basketball Leagues
ANALYSIS: Jerami Grant is owned in a tenth of Fantasy Basketball leagues, yet he is most likely the best defensive forward on 100% of waiver wires. Although Grant's time in the NBA out of Syracuse has been spent with atrocious Philadelphia teams, the lack of depth has meant more playing time for Grant this season. Last season with the Sixers, Grant played in 65 games and started in just 11, averaging 21.2 minutes per game. This year Grant has started nine out of twelve games while averaging 27.2 minutes per game. Currently Grant has accumulated solid averages of 10.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. This also translates to 13.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per 36 minutes, an indication of where Grant's numbers could be if he sees more PT for the horrendous 76ers. The big draw for Grant is that he is averaging 1.7 blocks per game as a SF/PF combo. His block percentage is at 4.5%, which is why Fantasy Basketball Managers should add Grant to their rosters for his solid scoring and rebounding, and his exemplary shot blocking.
