BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
OWNED IN: 11% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: Jeremy Lamb was playing more than 20 minutes per game for the Charlotte Hornets throughout November, December and early January before injuring his toe. He was averaging 11.2 points at the time of the injury. Upon his return, Nicolas Batum had already come back from injury and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was nearing a return of his own, and as a result, Lamb essentially lost his role. However, with Kidd-Gilchrist re-injuring his labrum, Lamb should once again see an uptick in minutes. On the year, he is scoring 18.1 points per 36 minutes-- the 12th most among all NBA shooting guards.
Lamb is a versatile wing scorer who can put the rack up points in bunches, and if he can secure 20-25 minutes on a nightly basis, he can easily put up double-digit points per game. He is worth monitoring in deep leagues, with the potential for significant fantasy appeal with a more consistent role.
