ANALYSIS: According to Al Jefferson, it is "mind-boggling" that Jeremy Lamb is still coming off of the bench in Charlotte. Hopefully Steve Clifford follows the same line of thinking. Fantasy owners, do you sense a potential windfall?

Through four games in 2015, we are finally getting to see what the Thunder saw in Lamb when they traded for him in the infamous James Harden deal back in 2012. In his first four games, the fourth-year shooting guard has dropped 11, 9, 20 and 16 points on 60% shooting (50% from three-point range). Furthermore, Lamb's 20-point showing came on a 9-10 shooting night. He also added four rebounds, three assists and two steals in that game. Flashes of brilliance like that mean we could see Lamb chase stardom this season.

Lamb is not ball dominant, and therefore can coexist with Kemba Walker, Jeremy Lin, and Al Jefferson, a trio of teammates who demand many touches to be effective. He fills a scoring niche that Nicolas Batum does not have the ability to truly occupy, and for that reason, he is worth a pickup. Lamb provides instant offense for the Hornets, a commodity that makes him invaluable as the scrappy Hornets claw for the 8th slot in the Eastern Conference. Barring injury, he will see consistent minutes throughout the season, and may prove to be the Hornets top scoring option as the season wears on.

He has shown flashes of brilliance that provide a glimpse into his bright future. In the present, he is a worthwhile pickup with a sky-high ceiling.
