ANALYSIS: Linsanity!! Man it was fun to watch Jeremy Lin go berserk when he was the Knicks three years ago. Unfortunately for Lin, he has never been quite able to replicate that level of success in the seasons that followed. However, we will see little flashes at times when Lin gets in a groove and starts to get the magic back. For the most part this season Lin was really only noteworthy because of the eccentric hairstyles he was sporting. Injuries to the Hornets' backcourt have opened up more playing time for Lin as the Hornets are desperate for offense right now.
Going into Wednesday's action, Lin averaged just over 16 points a game over his last six contests. He's also averaged four assists and just under four rebounds per game during that span. As long as Lin can continue to provide an offensive spark for Charlotte, he's going to keep getting a solid amount of minutes. Even though his value will go down when the rest of the team gets healthy, but it's not inconceivable that Lin could earn himself a permanently bigger chunk of playing time if he continues to produce. For now he becomes a solid add for fantasy owners in need of a guard who contributes in multiple categories.
